Shamanic Magic and Steel

The Gates of Orgrimmar belong to the Grim.  While impressive, Garrosh’s Horde do not mean to let us idly stroll to their warchief.  The Valley of Strength was crowded with forces and prisoners, and the Grim met them with a fury unmatched.

Haromm and Kardris trained thousands of shaman to whisper reverently to the elements to requisition their aid. The army of Garrosh, however, does not ask – they take what they desire in the name of the True Horde. Dark Shamanism forces the elements into servitude, twisting them into burned-out ash, corrupted waters, and toxic air.

The elemental spirits bound by these Dark Shaman are now free, and the Grim press onward, deeper into Orgrimmar.

Into the Cleft of Shadow we press, eventually coming before an old Hero of the Horde, Nazgrim.

Once a grunt in service of the former warchief, Thrall, General Nazgrim rose quickly through the ranks after overwhelming victories in Grizzly Hills and sunken city of Vashj’ir. Fiercly loyal to the Horde and boud by a rigours code of honor and duty, Nazgrim will hold the line for his warchief until his dying breath.

A sad day for the Horde that such a loyal warrior must fall, but any that stand with Garrosh will be put down like the rabid animal they follow.

We press onward.

The Beaches Stormed, and the Gates of Orgrimmar Have Been Breached

From the decks of our ships, The Grim stormed the beaches of Orgrimmar, where the Dragonmaw Clan established a formidable defense.  Formidable, but no match for The Grim.  Taking out the cannons lining the shore, after turning them upon their creators, we turned to move to the Gates of Orgrimmar itself.

The Dragonmaw, led by Warlord Zaela, stormed our beachhead, and threw themselves at us in suicidal waves.  Their battlelust was great, but The Grim prevailed and brought the Warlord and her fearsome mount down from the sky, where the massacre was complete.

Warlord Zaela formed a close bond with Garrosh during events in the Twilight Highlands, and she and her Dragonmaw orcs have pledged loyalty to Garrosh’s cause. Riding atop the fearsome Galakras, a direct descendant of the cataclysmic progenitor of all dragonkind, Zaela oversees the naval defense of Orgrimmar.

Galakras

The Grim proved to be capable bodyguards as well as killers, allowing nary a scratch tol the leadership of the Horde during the battle.

Achieve

Making our way through the barricades and defenses, The Grim encountered another foe… this one a mechanical beast, called Iron Juggernaut.  A device of engineering that any tinkerer would love to have as there own, this contraption was pure death incarnate.

This mechanical terror, designed nearly as much for intimidation as destruction, is the centerpiece of Garrosh’s siege weaponry. Crafted in the image of the mighty Kor’kron war scorpion, the Iron Juggernaut guards the gates of Orgrimmar, crushing any who would rise up to challenge Garrosh’s True Horde.

Luckily, The Grim are used to facing death on a regular basis, and it holds no power over us.

The Gates of Orgrimmar are breached… we come for you Garrosh, and will destroy all you place between us.

Go Long

The Grim are in this fight for the long haul, and will not quit until all foes are vanquished.

You Know What They Say About Pride…

Cleansed of our corruption and having passed Norushen’s test, the Grim pressed onward into the place called the Heart of Y’shaarj.  The place flowed with living corruption, and we faced a devious foe indeed.

The seventh sha, the Sha of Pride, was the final burden to which Emperor Shaohao clung, shrouding the land in mist and biding its time for millennia. When Garrosh awakened the Heart of Y’shaarj, the force of his arrogance caused this dark energy to coalesce in the chamber where the Heart was unearthed.

Sha of Pride

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

The Grim’s dedication to seeing our Horde united again guides us, nothing else.  We now begin our storming of the gates of Orgrimmar itself.  We are sure to meet fierce resistance.

None Shall Pass

The Grim formed a large war party and took themselves into the Siege of Orgrimmar, and performed quite admirably.

None Shall Pass

None Shall Pass, indeed.  Well done Grim.

An Unexpected Test

After fighting our way through corrupted foe after corrupted foe, we came upon a most unexpected of tests. The titan, Norushen, instructed our forces to purge the corruption from ourselves, and only if the test was passed could we move on to face the very heart of corruption in Pandaria.

The Siege Begins

The Grim take up the banner for the Horde and all of its people, leading the charge against Garrosh without hesitation or remorse.

The first foe in our path was the corrupted and animated waters that became Immerseus.

The ancient inhabitants of Pandaria recognized the vital importance of the lifegiving Pools of Power, building an underground system of aqueducts to safeguard the waters and nurture life in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The touch of corruption has animated and twisted these waters, and Immerseus stands as an unnatural embodiment of the Vale’s sorrow.

Immerseus has been purified, and shall trouble us no more.

The next obstacle in the way was known as The Fallen Protectors, once living allies, we now faced these spirits as foes.

The Golden Lotus and Shado-Pan guardians of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms were caught in the epicenter of the devastating blast that scarred the Vale, and torn apart by the dark energies. Their spirits linger in the place they once protected, confused and tormented by their failure.

The Grim Rise As Heroes

When the call goes out for warriors of unbreakable spirit and strength, the Grim answer with pride.  The first heroic mission into the Throne of Thunder has been completed – we stand victorious once more.  The storm still rages within the Thunder King’s citadel, and the Grim march on.

Victory Over the Storm

With the total defeat of the Thunder King’s forces, the Grim will soon challenge themselves against even greater foes – both abroad and close to home.  Enemies will rise and fall, but the Mandate marches on.

The Storm Is Broken

“Pandaria, her hills of gold, in dark and mournful times of old, did once a hopeless horror hold. When from her sacred vale did spring, with storm and flash, a monstrous thing, his name, Lei Shen, the Thunder King.”
