Birds Of A Feather

Exiting the natural caverns beneath the Throne of Thunder, The Grim came upon a great sewer system.  The refuse systems of the Mogu fortress teemed with horrible life. Bore worms, bow flies, corpse spiders, and huge gastropods filled the tunnels, seeking to feast upon The Grim warriors supple flesh.  Upward we moved, battling caustic gases, and slaughtering all in our path, until we came upon a large central chamber.  The winds were so strong that at times our soldiers could be carried upon them and we soon found ourselves in the middle of the chamber, among a massive roost.

Mogu flesh-shapers discarded their failed creations in an abyssal shaft beneath Lei Shen’s keep. The reek of decay lured many scavengers to the refuse pit, including the great Ji-Kun. Ruthless and cunning, the monstrous bird devoured her rivals one-by-one until she held sole dominion over the shadowy tunnel.

The beast called Ji-Kun and her hatchlings sought to make a meal of our forces, through bile, quills and great assaults of claw, caw and wind, and once again, The Grim were victorious.
