How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?
I heard about the Grim through Syreena on her alliance characters and of course, the arc done involving Skylah Mackenzie

Yes, I am almost OCD with checking the various forums I’m a part of, no worries there!

Tell us about your roleplaying experience. In WoW? Elsewhere? Do you consider yourself a heavy RPer? What does that mean to you?
I’ve roleplayed in various ways from tabletop DnD games to RP in WoW on my warrior. I consider myself a heavy RPer, I’ve Rped on my warrior for the last 5 or 6 years. To me, being a heavy RPer is trying to be in character as much as possible.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
I’ve had some experience, but mostly with NPCs I’ve used for stories or in other roleplaying games. The Grim alignment is actually opposite of my main, and that’s what I’m looking for is something different. If I need to play a good character, I got my warrior.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
I’ve been a part of a few guilds, my first main one was the Ministry of Truth on Hordeside Winterhoof US. When I started to RP, I went alliance in the Twilight Empire on Ravenholdt, now Netherholdt after the servers joined. While MoT was a great guild, I was getting bored with the game and decided to try RP. That lead me to the Twilight Empire, and I’ve been a member of TE ever since.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
Kirand is an alt, my main character is Myaka in the Twilight Empire. As I stated before, I’m looking for some different RP as a bit of a change up. Mya’s RP is very different from Kirand. Having that difference will let me experience a side of the game I can’t really have on Mya and let me break up how monotonous playing the same character all the time can be.

What race and class is this character? Why did you choose this race and class?
Kirand is a Forsaken Death Knight. There are some in character reasons for this that will come out in RP with him that are a part of his backstory.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim? What aspect of the game do you wish to focus on (raids, rated battlegrounds, arenas, challenge modes, achievements, etc.)?
I want to explore RPing a darker character concept and guild, as well as find more friends to hang out with. I enjoy all aspects of the game, and while I have a fairly full PVE schedule I can help out in both PVP or PVE where needed as long as it doesn’t interfere with those times.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
I’ve raided in both a casual and semi hardcore (heroics pushing mythics) setting. I’ve played all roles but I tend to do the best with Tanking/Healing. Of course, Kirand is a DK so he can’t heal, but if I get a Hordie who can heal at some point I’m willing to heal on that in a casual basis to help out the guild.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
I casually PVP on my warrior, WoW is the only PVP game I’ve played, and I’ve mostly play a tank in PVP with Prot. I’m planning on also PVPing on Kirand due to the heavy PVP that would come about from the Mandate.

Yep! Kirand’s name shouldn’t cause issue.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
My internet connection is pretty stable, and my computer is a higher end rig that tends to run around 70-90 FPS. It shouldn’t have any issues.

What days/times do you typically play this character?
I’m online pretty much every night after 6:30 server when I get home from work, and most of the weekend outside of social commitments that pop up. I’m planning to spend at least a few hours a night on Kirand if he’s accepted into the Grim so I can be available if needed.

Have you read the Required Reading? Do you have any questions or concerns about anything there?
Yep, I’ve read everything! I have no issues with it.

Have you read the Mandate? Do you have any questions or concerns about it? Can your character live by it?
I’ve read it, and got no complaints with it. I think Kirand can abide by it easily.

Do you have anything further to add?
I’ve really enjoyed any events the Grim are a part of, and I’m really looking forward to exploring the darker aspects of the Grim that would come from RP with this bunch.
