A letter borne on an astral breeze

Unread post by Nokokomah »

A letter floats into the Grim guildhall, borne by a breeze that cannot be felt, though the missive flutters and sways just like it would in a wind. It comes to rest on a table by the door, patiently waiting for someone to come pick it up.
Grim,

I seek to join your ranks once more. I did many years ago, but the Cataclysm called me away to help my homeland heal. I would seek to uphold the mandate once more if you would have me and the elements I command at your disposal.

[[ Xara/Filora alt... but I would like to go through the trials on this character rather than bring her in as a minion. Thanks! ]]

Khorvis was minding his own business, attempting to enjoy his pipeweed just outside of the Guild Hall's sidegate, when an angry piece of paper smacked into his face. The lit pipe tumbled out of his mouth and spilled embers across his tabard before sputtering out pathetically in the Tirisfal snow drift.

"Bloody fel! Will there be no peace in these Glades for just ONE spirit-forsaken NIGHT?!"

The orc stormed into the Great Hall after the dancing letter before body-slamming it to one of the longtables. Shredding the envelope in a fury usually reserved for the most taunting of gnomish combatants, the Inquisitor held the missive up to the flickering lights of the old wrought-iron chandeliers.

"A deserter? With the gall to show her face before the Inquisition once more?! This do be rich! Bwahaha!"

Toying with his braided beard, Khorvis mused over the letter of intent. "The Inquisition will judge the worth of her homeland, in the light of the Alliance threat. Pft... 'help heal...'"

With that, the High Inquisitor penned his response detailing the time and location of the next gathering.
