Many letters are written to one's self, and only to one's self. Whether out of boredom, or to jot down secrets that only the writer must be aware of. Sometimes, however.. These letters get into hands of those that would best not see said letter. This letter, found inside a Plaguehound's stomach, by an unknown adventurer is one such letter:
Ressan Spire..
It certainly has withstood the test of time. It has been just sitting there for over 500 years. A testimate to our House's Glory, and Power. It seems near immune to the destruction of the Eastern Plaugelands. The undead that reside there do not bother stepping close to the mile high, sparkling white and gold tower. The Pactkeepers that stand vigilant there 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, not needing food, or water are there just because we have extras. The Lich King's near unstoppable army do not wish to defile Ressan Spire. Instead, my father stands watch at the very top of the tower, leading House Ressan's army to tasks unknown across Azeroth, and worlds beyond..
My father.. The scourge do not wish to harm their own..
I am Lord Aest Hal'atharion Ressan, son to Highlord Alibar Ressan, and heir to the Ressan throne. If, and when I will ever get my chance at the throne, that, is the question. My father, a Lich, is certainly not going away anytime soon.. That is unless I make the time. As I write this, in my personal chambers in Ressan Spire, my father is currently unaware of my grand intentions to.. Remove of him, and with good cause. If not but one person was aware, the Pactkeepers would turn against me, ultimately leading in
my untimely demise.
I never liked my father.. Nor did anyone, for that matter. He took power, and glory above those he loved most. He killed, and tortured my mother in front of my eyes, and continued to feast upon her entrails, and soul.
.. My mother. The one person who understood me.
I now must cease writing this document, and gain further power.. When the time comes to claim the Ressan Throne, I will be prepared.
