OOC Intro:
Last night, the Grim experienced one of the most epic spontaneous RP events I have ever seen. What started as a light-hearted little play between Malethia and Cessily soon erupted into something a lot more. Below is the story, as told through the eyes of several of the players involved. The story might not make as much sense until a few of the points of view are revealed, so the entire thing can be read. So please be patient with us.
The characters involved, as I remember (and please forgive me if I left you off, I may not of been aware of your presence):
Cessily
Malethia
Zelaine
Mogok
Emmons
Kiaransalius
Deathshadow
Nymare
Leoren
Please note that this story is being mirrored on TNG. If you post here, please also post your piece there, and vice versa. If you do not have an account on TNG, just let me know and I'll copy your post for you.

Re: Light and Darkness at the World's Edge by Malethia
It had all begun so innocently...just a few short hours ago, she had been relaxing at Stillwater Pond, enjoying a perfect evening. Now she was flying through the skies of Kalimdor, tears in her eyes, clenching her hearthstone to her chest as she raced death's embrace to the edge of the world.
*I beg you, Cess, I'm begging you not to give up. Hold on just a little longer... I'm coming!*
================================================================
Hours Earlier
"I swear, you two are conspiring against me."
Malethia had played this game with Cessily several times now. The lithe rogue had teased and taunted the stronger knight with light touches and caresses, pushing Malethia's willpower to its limit. Now Cess had brought in a friend of hers - Zelaine, whom Malethia had never really met. The two of them were working together, finding amusement in Malethia's growing awkwardness at the situation. Despite her role as the teased innocent, Malethia was enjoying herself. It was liberating, really, to act like this, even if she couldn't let herself fully go.
Cessily left Zelaine's side, circling behind Malethia and holding her by the hips, trapping her between the two women. Malethia bit her lower lip, knowing she was going to have to rebuke them once again. However, she would let them tease just a little bit, all in the name of fun...
The mood was ruined by the stench of Tauren and wolf. Mogok had found them, and was grinning wickedly at the scene. Cessily let go, storming at the warrior in one of her now-infamous rages, cursing him and demanding he leave. Malethia turned scarlet, walking away in embarresment as Cessily and Zelaine continued to argue with the warrior. She headed for M'uru's chamber, slipping her hearthstone into her bag so that she would not hear the mocking voices of the male Grim.
================================================================
Kiaransalius Windsong, the Blood Moon Knight that Lascivious had been helping, had found her by M'uru. Apparently the Mistress had failed to pass on the message Malethia had provided. Still, Malethia tested the other Knight; she had heard of the other's quest, and needed to decide if she was even capable of using her powers in the same way Malethia could.
The conversation had proven fruitless - Malethia had no real way of knowing exactly how to go about with a test, and had done little more than offended the other woman. When Kiaransalius looked in confusion at her hearthstone, Malethia drew out her own. Sounds of anger and frustration were evident.
Malethia sighed. "What's going on now?"
Zelaine's voice came over the stone. "Cessily. She's missing..."
================================================================
Malethia had thrown on her battle gear as she raced through Silvermoon to the palace, dashing for the stone that would take her to Undercity and Orgrimmar beyond it. A search party had formed in Tanaris, Cessily's last known location, but little progress had been made. The stone was filled with accusations and updates, and all the while Cessily had remained out of touch.
Malethia closed her eyes, seeking out the glow in the center of her being, the Light from which she drew her powers. "Holy Light, I beg of you. Let me ease her suffering. Lead me to Cessily, so that I may heal her pain..."
In her mind's eye, she saw the desert of Tanaris left behind, through the jungles of Feralas, to the living sands of Sithilis. Her sight crossed over the mountains that hemmed that land from the sea, to a vast cave at the very edge of the continent. As the vision faded, she caught a glimpse of the rogue, her body bloodied and broken.
Malethia's eyes snapped open, filled with tears. "Wyvern! To Feralas, now! Move!" The flying beast turned from its southernly path, heading to the west instead. As soon as she landed at Camp Mohache, she summoned Foecrusher and rode to the coast. Malethia rode her summoned steed faster than she ever had, maneuvering it over and around the crags of the shore.
Foecrusher crested another peak and tumbled, the drop invisible from the other side. Malethia was torn from the saddle, her body protected by impenetrable holy power as both she and Foecrusher tumbled over the rocks. The steed's cries of anguish tore at Malethia's heart, her companion's pain reminding her all the more that Cessily was running out of time. With a wave of her had she dismissed the horse's broken body, letting its spirit return to the celestial plane. "I'm so sorry, Foecrusher...you have riden so well. Heal and rest, and have my gratitude."
Gathering her bag, Malethia continued around the edge of the continent, forced to swim at times when the cliffs became too steep. None of the landscape was familiar; only the Light was guiding her. After what seemed like hours, she spotted what appeared to be a tauren camp on a small outcropping. Behind the camp was a hole in the cliffs, a cave descending deep below All was as her vision had shown.
Malethia raced to the cave's opening, the Light and her panic keeping exhaustion from her body. She yelled inside as she began her delve.
"Cessily! I'm here for you!"

Re: Light and Darkness at the World's Edge by Malethia
by Mogok
It was a fine day on Azeroth. Mogok had taken a break from the relentless battles that had been taking place in Arathi Basin. Mogok was incredibly bored and spotted 2 Elves from the Silvermoon University. He decided to follow them around to ease his boredom. After about 30 minutes the Elves discovered Mogok's presence and began to flee. Mogok quickly whistled for his new Frostwolf Howler, Icehowl, and began to chase after them. After 5 minutes of chasing the Elves he passed 3 female Blood Elves appearing to be engaged in some sort of sexual, or soon to be sexual, activity. Immediately Cessily sprang up and yelled ferociously at Mogok. Mogok couldn't help but laugh at the little Elf, and he continued to do so for quite some time. And then... his stone vibrated and a enraged voice echoed throughout the area.
"If you're any type of man you'll fight me, you fucking COW!" Flared the voice.
Mogok knew it could only be Cessily. Cessily knew how Mogok felt about being called a Cow.
"I'll fucking rip your endtrails out from your vagina you little whore." Mogok thundered with endless rage.
And so, the two met near the Caverns of Time. Mogok instantly reached for his spear and charged Cessily. She managed to dodge quite a few of his attacks but he managed to overpower her. Mogok slashed, punched, rammed, and literally broke Cessily. She lie in the sand, covered in her own blood and hair. Mogok did not stop. He continued to slap the Elf until he could no longer swing his arm. Cessily wouldn't give in, she continued to fight. She would not stay down. She managed to throw a few good hits at Mogok but in the end, she was no match.
Cessily lie on the ground, beaten and broken. She did not move. Soon, a figure emerged from the ever-shifting sands. It was none other than the notorious Rogue, Emmons.
"What's going on here?" Emmons asked.
"Cessily was foolishly fighting Dragons... I saved her." Mogok said.
"A-Alliance.." Cessily moaned as she signaled for her wolf to arrive. Cessily limped onto the wolf and road away into the sands.
Mogok quickly followed, leaving Emmons behind. Once Mogok had finally reached Cessily he slammed her with all his might. Cessily screamed in agony, tears running from her eyes. Mogok brutally and mercilessly slapped her, nonstop. Mogok's eyes burned with a horrific lust for blood. Mogok placed his hoof upon her head and looked down upon the Elf. He merely grinned and taunted the Elf a few times. Cessily was not the weak type. Even in her condition she still tried to fight back. All she could do though, was attempt to raise her head. Mogok laughed with sadistic amusement. He grabbed Cessily by her hair and rammed his skull into hers. Cessily immediately fell back, limp and unmoving. She was covered in sand, blood, bruises, and her arms had been severely mangled. Mogok stuffed the seemingly dead Cessily into his sack and rode to the nearest flight master.
Once Mogok arrived in Feralas, he made his way to the Forgotten Coast. It was there he began his long swim to his own personal home. Every so often he held his stone to Cessily's mouth and let her moan into it. Once he had arrived he dashed for his cave, seeking a safe hideout. Growing arrogant of his successful kidnapping he held his stone once more to Cessily's mouth.
"Th... Coast..." Cessily coughed into the stone.
Mogok grew incredibly angry and picked up the stone and threw it at her head.
"Enough!" He shouted.
It was only a matter of time till the others would arrive. Mogok knew they were dead-on his trail. And so he waited. Finally Emmons appeared, and shortly after him came Malethia. Once Malethia had seen Cessily, she dashed for her.
"CESSILY!" Malethia continued to cry out.
Soon Deathshadow had arrived. He placed his hand on Cessily's head and began to read her mind...

((I'm no writer, but I did my best! Enjoy!))
"Cessily is injured; I saved her from the Dragons." Mogok explained into his hearthstone.
Death sighed. "I apologize, Mercy. It seems your break must be cut short. Let’s go." The skeletal horse whimpered, but Death leaped upon the horse and took off.
He extended his arm into his bag, made of the purest Primal Mooncloth that he had collected, and retrieved his Hearthstone.
"I am on my way, Mogok."
The tauren quickly replied. "...I am tending her wounds. There is no need to come."
Death heard it, the worried tone; the hesitation. Mogok had never cared for Cessily, why would he be tending to her wounds? Why is Mogok defending Death's help? He realized immediately; it was Grogkor all over again.
"Hm... That is quite alright. I doubt your bandages can mend her as quickly as my spells."
It was now urgent. He retrieved his riding crop, and began to rush for the east coast of Feralas.
Moments later, he arrived. He stepped off of his obedient mount.
"Stay, Mercy. I will be back." She nodded in understanding, and then began nibbling the grass beside her.
Death removed a handful of feathers from his bag. He chose one, and placed the rest back into the bag. The single feather, both equally as bright as it was dark, rested in his palm. Calling upon his mana, he drained the spirit of the feather, lifting Death off of his feet. He inched closer to the water carefully, making sure the spirit was stable and powerful. Reassured, he began running along the coast, above the water surrounding it.
Thirty minutes later, he noticed a hut, with a field right beside it, on the southern edge of the coast. It did not belong, and Death realized it. He sprinted to the hut, quickly concluding that no one was here. But there was a stench, one that he recognized.
Death began to panic. No sign of either of his targets. He desired help; he needed it.
"Shadow... Please, help me." He kneeled down and closed his eyes. He removed all mental defenses, and opened up, but it was futile. Shadow was not about to aid Death, and Death was not surprised.
Then he felt it, a presence. It was Emmons. Wait, no. It was Malethia... Zelaine? He turned his head, and followed the presence. He arrived at the entrance of a cave, completely black from the outside.
He stood there, afraid. He understood now what his hesitation was. He feared to fight; he had no desire for it. He feared that Cessily was in pain, and he had been to unable to prevent it. He feared because he was unable to stop Anaie from hurting her earlier. Shadow desired to kill. He thirsted for blood and he tasted victory. Death only desired to help aid those who could aid him. He predicted that Mogok would defend his pride, and he might desire to fight with Death if it came to that. Shadow had taken Mogok down easily, but could Death?
It didn't matter. He had a duty to Cessily. He needed to protect her. He sprinted into the cave. The cave was deep, with many different paths and "rooms" throughout it.
"THE LIGHT WILL PREVAIL!" It was Malethia's voice. She was nearby. Is she helping Mogok? Is there more? How many would Death have to deal with?
He came across the corner of the path.
Malethia stood there without energy. She had fainted a few seconds later. Mogok waited in front of her. Emmons stared beside Mogok. Cessily, both unconscious and bloodied, lied right beside Malethia.
Death walked. He remembered, Mogok believes him to be here to tend Cessily's wounds. He calmly passed Mogok without giving him eye contact, and kneeled beside Cessily. He placed his hand upon Cessily's head, and his eyes began to blacken. He penetrated Cessily's mind.
The world suddenly went black. A vortex of memories flew past Death, many of happiness with Kiaransalius, and some of pain with Grogkor. He knew which one he needed to see. He found Mogok, and began to examine it.
Mogok stood in front of her eyes. He grabbed her by the hair and rammed his skull against hers with great fury and rage.
Death shook.
Mogok slapped her mercilessly, endlessly. Cessily writhed in pain.
Death's head began to twitch at the sights he was witnessing.
Mogok laughed and taunted her with cruel intent.
Death could no longer stand it, and he closed his black eyes. With a subtle whisper, he placed his spell upon Cessily, and her wounds slowly began to close.
The forsaken walked with intent.
"Mogok, follow me. Now."
"I will not move any farther," the Tauren defended himself.
Death turned, intolerant.
"The only thing that prevents me from severing your head with a mere skinning knife is the Mandate and the Mistress' word, but I PROMISE ye, if you do not obey, I will not hesitate for a moment to silence your words. Now FOLLOW."
Mogok grinned and obeyed.
Together, they moved away from the darkest end of the Cave.
To be continued...

Re: Light and Darkness at the World's Edge by Malethia
by Zelaine
Zelaine walked up on the two beautiful women sitting by the lake. She tried to make her presence unknown but Cessily wouldn’t allow that.
"I see you back there Zelaine" Cessily said slyly
“Ah…I didn’t want to disturb” Zelaine Replied as she walked towards the two. She sat down next to Cessily. The conversation went on with the usual attempt of Cessily corrupting Malethia. Zelaine decided to help her friend the best she could…until the cow came.
Zelaine saw him out of the corner of her eye just as she was leaning in to Malethia for a kiss. She paused and tilted her head to see the source of the noise. Mogok. Zelaine didn’t know him that well but his presence was unwanted nonetheless. Zelaine was about to say something but Cessily beat her to the punch. The Elf fumed at the Tauren with great vigor. Nothing much came of the argument but Cessily rode off in a huff and Malethia crept away in shame. Zelaine sighed as she eased herself back down to the grass and continued to look over the falls at the lake below.
((Some time later….))
Zelaine began to miss Cessily. She had been strangely silent since the encounter with Mogok. Zelaine took out her stone to reach her privately.
“Cessily?”
No Reply
“Cessily where are you dear, I miss you?”
Still no reply. This wouldn’t be the first time that Cessily had ignored those around her after she had flown off the handle at someone but this felt different somehow. Zelaine decided to ask the rest of the grim what they knew.
“Grim, have any of you seen Cessily, she is not responding to me when I try to reach her?”
The first voice to break the silence was Emmons the rogue. Zelaine didn’t really know him that well except that he had been apparently trying to bribe Jabiba the night before to have him stop guarding the door behind which Cessily and Zelaine were making love. Annoying, but she had been assured that Emmons cared for Cessily and had only her best intentions in mind.
“I saw her near the caverns of time a moment ago with Mogok”
Mogok…Zelaine thought to herself. There might be something more to this.
“And where is she now?” Zelaine shot back.
“She road off to the west after she was beaten on by some alliance and some dragons.”
Wonderful…Zelaine popped a rune of teleportation out of her bag and held it in her hand as she muttered the familiar incantation. Moments later she appeared in the moist cave in Thunder Bluff. She made her way to the windrider master and was off to Tanaris as fast as she could be carried. As she landed she sent out a message to all the horde in Tanaris asking for information on the location of Mogok or Cessily. There was no reply. Fine then, she would do it all herself. She mounted her Warhorse in a fluid motion and sped off to the caverns of time. The sand ripped at her exposed shin as she rode but she carried on. She arrives to find the entrance to caverns devoid of life save the bronze dragons. Zelaine tried the stone once more.
“Cessily please let me know where you are, you have me worried.”
No response once again. Zelaine searched Tanaris up and down through every nook and cranny…she wasn’t here. She pulled on the reins and stopped to think. If she was headed west…possibly the crater. She would be on foot if Mogok was after her so she can’t be far. If not Ungoro then she would try thousand needles. Alright she had a plan. Zelaine jerked the reins to the left and rapped her steed on the back with her riding crop. The Warhorse sped off to the entrance. The beasts of the crater left her alone for the most part; they knew she would not hesitate to make short work of them. She made it to the north part of the crater without seeing either her love or that damned cow. What to do now. She was wasting valuable time.
“Mogok!” She shrieked over the stone “Where are you!”
The gruff voice replied back “I am looking for poor Cessily, she seems to be lost.”
Zelaine was no one’s fool. This confirmed to her the Tauren had bad intentions for Cessily. “Give me your location we can look together” Zelaine demanded. But the Tauren didn’t say any more. A voice other then Mogok did break the silence
. “Cesshily is mishing? “ It was Emmons, clearly drunk. Oh, well a drunken fool we better then no help at all. She beckoned the rogue to her. “I think sche ith in Feralis, the background sound like it.” Zelaine was unsure of the abilities of the rogue in this state but she was running out of ideas. She hopped into yet another windrider and was off. When she arrived Emmons had already been looking for her to no avail. Suddenly a fait grunt and whimpering was heard over the guild channel. Zelaine looked to Emmons pleadingly. The Rogue thought back to himself.
” Sounds like Silithus maybe?”
That was all Zelaine needed she tore through the sky and landed in Silithus. Emmons dropped behind her a moment later.
“You take the North, Ill go south.” Zelaine said sternly.
“Fine” Replied the rogue as he sped off to the north on his wolf.
Zelaine wiped her Warhorse around and sped off in the other direction. She searched for what seemed like hours. She ran though all the places she could be the Silithid underground hives, the caves in the mountains, but she was nowhere.
The sound of the buzzing insects around her was broken by Cessily. “The shore…”
“Cessily!” Zelaine shrieked at the stone.
“Oh, no Cessily! Where are you?” Mogok followed with, in what Zelaine took as a mocking manner. He was teasing her. He knew where she was. Zelaine shook with rage.
“Mogok! If you even think of getting near her, you suffering will be endless!” Zelaine hissed.
Zelaine pondered to herself out loud over the stone so Emmons could hear. “How could she be in Silithus, and at the shore? That doesn’t make any sense!”
There was a slight pause then Emmons replied. “I know where she is, I know just where she is! Back to Feralis!” And so they flew back to Feralis. When they landed they mounted up and Zelaine followed Emmons. The headed west to the coast, when they arrived at the waters edge Emmons said “I hope you don’t mind getting wet” and leapt into the sea. Zelaine Followed without hesitation. The two of them made their way along the coast. Through the water or up steep cliffs. Emmons was more nimble then Zelaine and was able to move ahead of her a ways. Zelaine picked up her pace, panting heavily. She leapt over a short span but as her right foot hit the other side it gave way. The rocks shifted and Zelaine was sucked down off the cliff. She was panicking, her mind raced. “No light feathers, I should have kept some on me…it would take too long to put on my Skyguard cloak…” She thought.
Panic was overtaking her as the wind rushed by her face and the ground came ever closer. She Formed a mana shield around herself as a desperate effort to soften the impact. Then she hit. The shield burst around her instantly hardly having any effect. She hit the ground with a deafening “CRACK!” Zelaine’s eyes rolled back into her dead and the blood pooled out of her mouth onto the ground. She could see the outline of a man in front of her. “Gooo Emmons” She pleaded “ Finder her…”
Zelaine curled up. It hurt to breathe. Blood was filling her lungs at a rapid pace and her ribs burnt with red-hot pain.
Then…it all went black.
((The rest is soon to follow!))
