*the look in Keth's eyes was not at all sane, and held such sorrow and madness in it, that it was almost radiating off the smaller girl*

Athalia shrunk slightly at the sight of Kethrys eyes, she bit into another strawberry...

"I... well.. We met at a tavern.. and I drank... a lot... and you kissed me... and I convinced you you aren't worthless.. then you decided to be with Kilara... and.. married her.. you seemed happy?"

She shook her head not knowing how to fill the gaps of someone else's life..

"You and I arrived here... and made our alliance with The Grim.."

Her lower lip was begining to get raw from biting into it..

"I remember that, Atha...I meant...What did we do? Where did we go? The things we saw, who we knew. Those gaps. Do not think I forgot our kiss, or the taste of the moonglow on your lips. Or Kilara. I have not forgotten her, as you saw by the journal. I may forget her name, but I remember marrying her, if not her name. Trust me when I tell you she has moved on. There is someone else in her life, now..."

The blood elf with my eyes...Kissing her...Someone else, indeed.

Kethry rested her head against Atha's shoulder.

"Tell me those things, love. Please."

"Well.." She began slowly, "We had many friends... Rev was my friend, my closest friend .. thick as thieves. He was here for you a time or two as well- but not quite as often as Sarimash, a paladin... He helped you train, he helped teach the ways of combat to you.." She smiled remembering... "We used to run around Western Plague lands causing terror to the Alliance, slaying them just as we had our mindless undead foes.."

Esmi seemed to be reveling in this... She bit her lower lip..

"Kyela, all of the members of Haven- Intrepidity's members.. You were the leader of a guild once.." her eyes reached the floor and she took a deep breath in.. "I miss home."

"What? I lead a guild? Honestly...I could never..."

but with each word Atha speaks, the gaps fill in. Provided to her from the lips of her unlikely lover...

"...I miss Valkyree...and Melitha....They...They were like sisters to me....But...I do not want to go home. This is home now. We just...Need time to adjust...Everything will be fine as long as I have you..."

*Kethry nuzzled Athalia, kissing her gently, then, hoping to make it all okay somehow*

Esmi stroked Kethrys hair and sighed, no longer wanting to nibble on the strawberries.

"Time to adjust.." she nodded, the friends she had for years were now gone... she sighed.. "Time to Adjust.."

Slowly she began to drift back into a sleep.
