A Letter Arrives Via Goblin Post

Unread post by Aureilya »

The page in the envelope is folded crisply on eggshell colored parchment. The words are penned neatly and concise.

"Grim,

I wish to rid our lands of the parasites and vermin that leech our resources and endanger our people. My will is strong and my aim is true. I would join your cause if you will have me.

For the Horde,

Shaelie Brightwing"

The response that Shaelie Brightwing receives through the goblin post is equally as simple and direct. Within a wrinkled leather pouch is a dried and bleached dwarf scalp. One remaining braid is left attached to the skin and used to tie up the artifact like a scroll. Upon the scalp is orcish penned with incarnadine ink.
Brightwing,

The Mandate does demand much of a wench's will and aim. You will show your face before the Inquisition on the night of the 11th when the arcane clock strikes half past seven on Shattrath's Scryer's Tier.

Prove your worth to the Grim and find both glory and wealth in our ranks. Fail the Inquisition and be broken and smashed as we treat the vermin you do so despise. Betray our location to the Alliance and have your name burned from the memory of the Horde.

Lilliana had decided to lurk behind Khorvis as he penned his letter on the grotesque hide of scalp. "Hey, can I have some of those to write back to aspirants too? That's neat. Oh ooooooooo, is that a hunter you writing back too?"
