Grim Application For Kroul
How did you hear about The Grim?
Lunature/Astriana
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
Sad to say infrequently. I rather be playing WoW. But I do check them time to time.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
Intermediate. Although Speak and Spell is a great Role playing addon in my opinion.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
As an undead warlock, evil is my middle name.. if I had one.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
Twisted Nether, Amagur Empire (with Lunature).
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
Warlock is my main, just wanted to make some "evil" friends.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
Grouping with some friends, honestly.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
Well I usually play my warlock. For some reason I love DOT spells. I some experience with PVE raiding.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
I kind of get frustrated with PVP, often its unbalanced. (Could never kill a druid, made me sad and I gave it early on).
Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
Check...
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
I havent tried it out yet. Should be stable.
Provide an armory link to your character.
none atm
Do you have anything further to add?
Hope to see you in game.

Re: Applicant
You still show up in the Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/t ... r/advancedLucipher wrote: Provide an armory link to your character.
- I haven't played in awhile starting back up.
You seem to have found an old copy of our application somewhere. There's now a question on there about names: "Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.) " I understand though that you've already been informed that, if accepted into the guild, you would have to change your name before receiving a guild invite. Are you okay with that?
Also be sure you have read our required reading posts. It may not have been linked in the old application you found.
Can you elaborate a bit on your RP in WoW, and tell us a bit about your character's history or personality? How often do you RP in WoW; do you consider yourself a heavy RPer?
One last thing, please post an in-character letter of introduction in the Letters of Intent forum.
Thank you.
Re: Applicant
I spoke with one of your guildmates, and suggested that I apply before my name change. Still haven't come up with one. Any suggestions?
Re: Applicant
No, sorry, I don't have any suggestions.
Please respond to the rest of my post above, and then we can schedule an interview. Thanks!

Re: Applicant
If you want your name to be self-claimed and thus descriptive you could look at this: http://wowpedia.org/Zandali
Mind you, most people have a name given to them by their parents as opposed to a nickname or moniker (you weren't born an evil warlock) so any trollish name would work and your attitude wouldn't be forced into any preconceived path by your name/label.
Do also note that Lucipher means light-bringer so if you do want a similarly ironic name you might try something like Atal'jin (devoted leader). You'll prolly end up being happier if you chose your own name though, otherwise a couple of years down the road you may well regret it.

Greebo! Zandali is not to be known by lesser races.
Human/Undead/Gilnean(Worgen) all make for excellent naming choices, because you can go by a first name (Dean) or a lastname (Gilroy).
Alternatively, Undead have the bonus of being named after their reanimation. However, your brain might be a little less sophisticated than your human counterpart if you intend to be believable. Example: Creep, Putress, and Blightrot. Choose wisely.

Why did I think troll? The apostrophe I guess.
