Lilliana

Unread post by Bloodshine »

Lilliana walked up to the Grim's current guild hall, in search of Syreena. She had asked her mother, Bloodshine, to stay behind, and so Lilliana entered through the front door unaccompanied. It had been years since she had seen or let alone thought anything of the Grim, and going through those doors brought back the memories that the young red headed troll needed. Some good, some bad, all Grim. She still had her tabard, although it was faded and spoke little of what was once so very Grim about it. It had been too long.

"Hey...." Lilliana cleared her throat, and then spoke in a clear, sweet voice that could only be described as absolutely childlike. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeey! Syreena! Syreeeeeeena!" She waved her faded tabard in the air. "I hear that you are like...the Steward.....no wait....that was Grainger....yes, right...I heard you were THE Inquisitor....gosh that sounds mean....of the Grim!"

She paused. It was all quiet. She never remembered it being quiet in the guild hall. She must be disturbing some pretty important paperwork if it's this quiet.

"Syreena!" Hands on hips, she waited as casually as if she had only been gone a day, instead of 7 years. She knew that someone would hear her and she hoped earnestly that it would be Syreena.

Syreena looked up from reading a report when she heard her name being called. The voice brought back memories--being introduced to the joys of throwing snowballs at people, throwing snowballs at Regnanetah in the tunnels under Orgrimmar, throwing snowballs at Grolish to keep him from using his hearthstone to get out of the Sunken Temple, spying on Warneshi in his office in Orgrimmar.

The little rogue grinned and stepped out into the hallway, the worg pup Ber at her heels.

"Hi, Lilly!"

Lilliana's face held the largest grin that a troll's face could hold when she saw Syreena. Indeed, it was like only yesterday for Lilliana since she saw Syreena. Lilliana remembered those times, and how she had introduced Syreena to the joys of smashing snowballs at unsuspecting and cranky Grim officials.

Heedless of "Grim protocol", Lilliana stepped forward and took the little rogue by surprise and enveloped her in a hug. This wasn't a usual greeting from the short troll, but it was one that she reserved for the few and far between. The few she called friend. Ones such as the little rogue, Syreena.

Lilliana stepped back and shook an old, wasted tabard in front of Syreena's face. "You see this? Now what is this all about?!" Although it sounded like she was prepared to berate Syreena, she was smiling. Her eyes held a twinkle. "Now, let's fix this. I'm a Grim, and I can't go around as a Grim with this worthless tabard here! It's so un-Grim! No one would respect me wearing this. Can I have another tabard?"
