Dear fellow Grim,

I have been approached by a rather strange little chap, a native of this new island we have discovered. He is rather difficult to understand, but he seems to want to join us.

I say, "He seems" because although he has clearly taken the time to study our ways and language, he seems to get his words mixed up, making him difficult to comprehend at times.

I have given him a copy of the mandate and he was all nods and smiles after he read it, and still seems keen.

I am concerned that the furball is perhaps not quite as silly as he might appear, because despite his large size, he is surprisingly agile and stealthy. I will be keeping a close eye on him.

However, he is well regarded by our leaders and seems to be some sort of ambassador for his people. He seems to genuinely believe in our cause and willing to contribute to the demise of our common foe.
