Selins stood, her shoulder slightly hunched as her chest rose and fell. The warlock was badly beaten and several pieces of her cloth attire had been ripped and torn. Her breathing began to slow as the last of an oddly familiar blue mist swirled its was into a vial on her belt. In front of the warlock laid a, finally dead, shale spider. The landscape surrounding them however gave evidence to the battle that ensued. Littered on the ground where empty vials that once held an array of potions, several hallowed soul stones and even more emptied health stones. The signs of Life blood where already wilting away just as the pieces of rock elementals were being reclaimed by the earth.
Pulling the staff from her back Selins started jamming the end of it into the spider’s head; her target was the glimmering red gem that was embedded in its skull. “Come.. On…you… stupid… SPIDER!” her voice carried in the valley but the scream seemed to help her break free a small edge. “Finally..” dropping her staff Selins curled her fingers around the gem and ripped it off. Not taking the time to admire the gem Selins reached for vial attached to her belt, a dark blue mist started swirling down her robe and forming a void walkers beside her. “Take this, we will be making it into a gift.. once I fix my robes..”
Making its way through the guild halls the Void Walker slowly creeps into Aureliya’s office, it attempted to knock, but the sound was muffled. “From the Master” the deep raspy voice that the walker spoke in was low, shortly after it spoke it left a necklace made from the same stone that Selins had taken from the shale spider’s head. Bowing its head slightly the walker quickly vanished, as if collapsing on to itself, leaving nothing behind but the necklace and the faint smell of fel magic.

Re: Selins Trial of Combat
Well done, Supplicant. I have heard your struggles over the communicator for weeks, and have been aware of your attempts and failings for some time now. Where many would have given up in frustration, you continued to try again as you progressed in your training. Your determination and eventual success has proven to me that your first trial has been completed to my satisfaction.
