Place of Birth: Documents state his mother gave birth whilst in the service of the Lords of Fenris Keep before the Betrayal of Thule Ravenclaw so probably at least for a time within the Keep before moving to Ambermill at a young age.

Known Relatives: Mother: Arianna Vontagne (victim of matricide)
Father: Donovan Vontagne (Consumed by darkness before Maximillian was born)

Religion/Philosophy: There is no God, only second chances to do what is right. Each man has his own God within they control their destinies and no one else.

History Before The Grim: Brought up to be polite honest and proper things really were dull for the better portion of his life until he decided he had enough of proper etiquette and murdered his mother in "proper" fashion. Never one to enjoy being nagged by anyone he had settled and traversed alone without a care to what he had done. Thievery was something he enjoyed though not to fence items but to use them in his experiments and to aid in his study. (Which is why Ambermill is missing its sawmill blade) Mind you this was all BEFORE he became a member of the Forsaken community. Vontagne was not a very nice guy to begin with which made his conversion all the more suitable for Sylvanas when she ended up recruiting him to oversee certain aspects of the Summoning council he is now a sole member of due to feeding his pupils to his demons. He has no qualms with taking lives or making others' lives miserable though still prefers to live alone near the Ambermill town hall in which he often has guests for galas or dinner parties when he sees fit. Other things could go here but by far none which could be considered great or noteworthy in his small portion of history within Azeroth. He has tales to tell but only if they wished to be heard at the proper times.
