Grim Application For <Calithan>

How did you hear about The Grim?
-had a few friends telling me how they had run with some pros from The Grim, thought they were very good and knowledgeable

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
-I check to see what the major issues are, also I read most concerning the top classes I play

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-somewhere in-between. I enjoy role play immensely, being able to be someone else and kill Alliance is a great part of my day

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-I do, I played some D&d as a lawful evil Fighter, I enjoyed fighting for my lord, no matter what peace the Alliance tries to make, they have to die

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-Horde Brothers, Twisting Nether: I enjoyed this guild quite a bit, but there just wasn't enough activity there for me to stay, never had a raiding night

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-This is my main.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-no other mmo games, but my main focus has always been pve, I enjoy dps the most with tanking a close second. I've been playing since wotlk, but recently took a couple years off. Ret has always been my favorite, something about smiting my enemies with a God's blessing feels great

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-my pvp experience is limited, mostly random bgs, I've always wanted to try rated arenas and see how they fell.

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why.
-typical schedule is All week, mostly nights, 6pm-1am

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-computer performance is good, very few lags, fps is 100+ on average, and internet connection is stable

Provide an armory link to your character.
-http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/t ... han/simple

Do you have anything further to add?
-I really like the Tabards :)

What other role-playing experience do you have? Any other characters? Other games or D&D scenarios?

Almost all of my RP experience is from D&D, our DM was very big on keeping to our roles and only awarding levels after we had crossed a milestone with our character. Sadly, that and wow are my only real RP experiences, as I said before I took a few years off from wow and that was for school because I didn't have time for hardly any games. Other characters, one is a level 85 warlock named Keyall, which doesn't get much RP time due to trying to level him as quickly as I can

I won't be able to make the meeting tonight sadly. My internet went down to day and I've spent most of my free time trying to do at&ts job. Should have someone here in the morning though
