Professional Gaming

Unread post by Ashenfury »

I dropped out of professional gaming when I got divorced several years ago. I was never winning money but I did compete in a few tournaments and had a lot of fun doing it. I did all of this under the CEVO label which has since ceased to be. So I'm starting completely over with new contacts and no clue where the private practice servers and mIRC meeting grounds are.

The Winter Season is in full swing and will be ending in March. That means that if you're interested in the Spring Season that it's time to pony up for some Pay Per View to study the competition, get a team going and start practicing on private servers.

Major League Gaming: Battlefield 3.

If you're interested let me know and I'll point you to some training grounds for team play. If by some miracle we end up with a couple of Grim interested then I'll purchase a gold pass and share the benefits with all. Otherwise I'm just going to start looking for a team.

I'm good - but I am not professional good. Those guys are on a completely different level than me.

Would love to live the fantasy, Ash - but my forte is just not into FPS and fighting games.

I remember you having an impressive K:D in the beta. I was good but not great at TF2 when I started CEVO. By the time I dropped out it was impossible to top my score on any public server. I remember Dem and I making so many game changing pushes as Medic/Demo and Medic/Soldier on public servers before I finally quit.

What I'm saying is that if you have the basic skills to sufficiently play then the rest is academic.

Another Ladder. I'm not wanting to play for money or even compete for it. Just fun and learning with bigger dogs than I. I'll name it Grim if we get a few people.

You know me, I'm down. I really miss competitive gaming, more specifically FPS.
