Leaders of The Grim,

As of late, I have been working closely with select members of your fold in the war against the Alliance. my goal of purging the Alliance from Azeroth would be better met under the flag of The Grim.

I hope to meet someone on this issue in person very soon.

Sincerely,
Winde Light of Dawn, Stone Guard of the Horde, Defender of the Shattered World, and Champion of the Frozen Wastes

IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Winde Light of Dawn, Stone Guard of the Horde, Defender of the Shattered World, and Champion of the Frozen Wastes; is my official title. But my friends call me Winde.

(IC) What is your gender and race?
- Male Tauren.

(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- My good friends, nature sought to bless me with the powers of a Druid. Although, I doubt Mother Nature intended me to be so in tune with my shape shifting abilities. My fellow druids have chosen a path of healing and nurturing. Me.. I just can’t help myself I see an alliance pig- and I have to kill him.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- HA, like those pity bureaucratic fools could count as high. They’ve told me only 22 thousand kills. I’m insulted—those fools stay inside the comforts of Orgrimmar, never have they seen real combat! My true number is much higher, unfortunately I lost count a long time ago.

(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- My friends; I am a druid at heart, I feel the impulse to heal the land destroyed by Deathwing. But that’s what the Earthen Ring is for! And until they ask me to join their ranks my allegiance is to the Horde! Our Grand Warchief has been insulted and challenged by a foe not worthy of shining our boots. The alliance will pay for what their kings have done. They will pay, for the invasions of Horde lands. They will die! The Grim is a find representation of how dangerous and honorable the horde can be, I would be honored to call you guild-mates!
What do I bring to the Grim?
A furious beast capable of taking any hit from any foe. A prowler from the deepest of Stranglethron’s jungles rumored to be the reason for alliance absence in the area. And if need be, a nature wielding druid capable of curing any wound and mending any laceration. But know this – There is no greater ally or dangerous foe than I. The alliance run at the sounds of my Mammoths footsteps; As I benefit from the numbers of your guild, you gain one of the oldest and feared druids who roam this land.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I served as an Assistant Professor to Orphan Matron Battlewail, for the orphans in Orgrimmar. Before that I served as a mender for my fellow Horde clansmen in the battles against Illidan, Kael’thas Sundstrider, and the imfamous Lady Vashj. Before the threat of outlands my life was concentrated in the deserts of Silithus working as a horde representative in the fight against C’Thun and the nefarious Ossirian the Unscarred.

(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
- I couldn’t be more happy and proud of my Warchief. Finally that peace loving --- well good man—Thrall has relinquished his role as Warchief and let someone who can finally lead a fight against the Alliance. In the past I felt Thrall was hesitant to fight the Alliance because of his history with Humans. But now with this new leader the bloodline of Hellscream will not avail us against the Alliance. However, I would have liked to see a more forward progress in destroying alliance control of Northrend and Outland, however, Hellscream has found our focus should remain on Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. My opinion matters little in the politics. Worry little, for I will follow Hellscream into the debts of hell if need be.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- It means a different type of play style that this game has sadly missed out on. I understand it, and respect it. And I will try my damnist to participate in the fullest. I’m actually quite excited, although I hope nobody gets mad if I accidently don’t remember their full name.

(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
- that’s awesome. And No I doesn’t conflict with my playstyle. However, I try to be smart about who I pick a fight with, I’m not going to go running into Stormwind alone.. :P Nor do I find it pleasing to kill those not worthy of honor. But if you too see fit to welcome me into the guild, I will understand the nature of the Grim, and follow it. ((Although, I might have a problem with ganking of lowbies.. I just don’t find that entertaining, but if their of level—their dead))

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- Beginner, I wont pretend to have some preordained skill of role-playing, I like it, its fun, and I’ll try anything, but Gary Gygax is on a whole other level than I am.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
Nope, Winde here is the (arguably) oldest druid on this server. Original name, original server.

(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Uhm, honestly a guild with a population. I’ve been in Aftermath since the beginning of Burning Crusade, and it has had its ups and downs, but personally I like logging on to a population in a guild not just me and the click that don’t talk to anyone else. Rated Battlegrounds is how I became interested in the Grim, I’ll continue that as best I can and maybe possibly (hopefully) I’ll get to participate in some raids.

(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Qarosimae.
- Well I’m in my senior year of college last semester. This semester isn’t too difficult, so I might be online a lot more than I previously had been. I usually play at nights, and its usually 5 server – 10/11 server that I stay online, if I’m online any other times its not for a long period of time nor should it be expected that that same time each week I will appear online. I play when I’ve got spare time but my usual times are in the late afternoon as mentioned above.

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
Peace through Annihilation brothers and sisters of the Horde! Looking forward to seeing you on the battlefield. Preferably as guild-mates.
