Nika could barely spare a glance to the commotion in the room behind her. The elf who had shot her was down, at least.. smothered beneath the huge bear that had appeared out of nowhere. The bear seemed unfamiliar to her- she didn't easily recognize the druids in their animal forms, and she couldn't place who this one might be. His face appeared injured though, the bloodied holes where his tusks used to be indicated he was already here, before they'd arrived. With the bear on the elf who had shot her and Ashenfury turning the guards face into a bloodied pulp, she was able to refocus her attention on Nyali.

The arrow jutting from her arm burned tremendously. A deep ache was settling in that spread from her shoulder to her elbow.. but pushed it aside as best she could. "Nyali!" She urged, gently. Her gaze swept over Nyali's face, lingering on the unsettling way her eyelids seemed unnaturally flat in their sockets. She took a shuddering breath and put her hand on Nyali's shoulder, giving her what she hoped was a reassuring and gentle squeeze. "Ashenfury! Kailei.. she's hurt really bad. We have to get her back.. she needs healing.."

Ashenfury shook his head and hung an axe on it's hook. After procuring his hearthstone he calls out to Bryii, "How is Therean? We need you here now. It's too dangerous to move Nyali.". Without waiting for a response Ashenfury begins the long meticulous chant granted to powerful guilds and clans to summon others. As he did so a sucking sound could be heard in front of him until he finished the chant and a brief but pronounced tearing could be heard. The portal to pull Bryii had been opened and will only remain so for a limited time.

Ashenfury looked to Nika and the angry druid. He noticed Nika had been hurt but she was still conscious. The bear had someone pinned and while he was sure that Kailei was present he could not see her. Ashenfury stood and walked to the druid while hanging his other axe. He looked down at the pinned Elf impartially and shrugged.

Zelity walks up to the cell purposefully until she rounds the corner spotting all the people inside. She freezes midstep and blinks. "No no no....the numbers were right!? This can't be!" she nearly yells frantically before turning around to try and leave before the "cultists" get her.

Nika's touch was gentle, but Nyali reacted as if she had been burned. She screeched and attempted to smack her friend. Her eyelids separated, showing purple blisters covering the area around the eye sockets, and where the eyes should have been was blistered and healing brown flesh. She glared sightlessly at Nika, baring her teeth. Her tusks were missing, hair was filthy. She spat at Nika. She grunts and snorts, nostrils flaring.

The druid shrugged and sat on the night elf, he growled and looked to Ashenfury, as if he wanted to know if the orc wanted him to leave the elf alive.

Nika recoiled from Nyali's violent reaction, immediately moving back to give her space. She didn't try to touch her again, but she continued to speak softly to the druid. Her pulse thrummed in her ears as she saw the extent of Nyali's injuries. Her eyes... Steeling herself, she put those thoughts aside, and continued to speak to Nyali in a quiet, soothing tone.

"It's ok Nyali, it's us.. you're safe, we're gonna get you out of here. Ashenfury and Kailai are here.. I think Knithawk is around somewhere. Ashenfury is getting Bryii.. she's going to help you. Those people are gone, they won't hurt you now.." She glanced over her shoulder at Ashenfury, looking to see if Bryii would soon appear. "Did you call for Leyu'jin, too? Does he know where to find us?" Her brown eyes were large as she looked towards the Inquisitor. Nyali's condition seemed more dire than she had feared.

As Bryii looked at Therean and listened about his story she felt her hearthstone vibrate. Bryii quickly walked up to Therean and smiled locking him up against a metal post in her room with food and water for him to have until she got back. As Bryii had gathered her things her body started to materialize from the summon, Bryii nodded towards Therean and said, "I will be back shortly you can sleep on my bed and go to the washroom the chain is long enough to go anywhere in my room. If you try to escape while I am gone I will come after you." Bryii vanished as being summoned, she knew that Ashenfury was the one retrieving her.

Ashenfury looked at the druid, surprised that he did not snap the elf's neck. The elf's eyes were saucers as he looked around at his enemies speaking a language that he did not understand. Tears streamed down his cheek as he pleaded in terror for what was most likely his life. Ashenfury broke his gaze and turned it to the druid before shrugging once more "Leave me the ears." he said as he turned around to Bryii standing behind him. He looked at her and then nodded to the broken Nyali laying on the floor.

Nika rose, nodding to Bryii before moving back to let her go to Nyali's side. She clutched at her arm, Cringing as she examined the arrow jutting out, and moved over nearer to Ashenfury.

Zelity:

The short goblin walks through the damp halls of the underground tunnels with purpose. Her overalls and boots soak up the water that settles at knee height on her. She grumbles to herself about worst places to live when she rounds the corner and freezes midstep. She blinks a couple times looking at the scene of gathered people in front of her and pales a little. It wasn't as if she'd been quiet walking up since the water came so high up on her knees. Being pretty sure she was noticed just now, she starts to back away. "Sorry! Wrong turn I guess!" she offers nervously.

Daz'ul crushed the elf's throat with a paw, and lumbered to the group. He moved to Nika, and sniffed.

Therean sighed as he what the portal zap shut behind Bryii. He wasn't going to run, of course, but surely Bryii knew he could pick locks. Not two days ago did he pick some lock boxes for Zilai. Therean shuffled over to Bryii's dresser and scanned the surfaces. There; a hairpin. With a quick twist and a flick, the shackles fell off. Just beyond the reach of the chain was a dresser and chest. Therean set the hairpin to each, succeeding only with the dresser; the lock on the chest was simply too good to pick with a hairpin. Luckily, his gear was in the dresser anyhow. With his typical utilitarian affect, Therean heaved up the bundle with two hatchets protruding from it and headed for the door. Pausing he stepped back and snatched up a cookie, placing it in his mouth and leaving the room.

***

Therean finished cleaning himself up, and straightened and tucked in his Grim Tabard. If he was to face disciplinary repercussion, perhaps ultimate in nature, he would do so as a Grim. He scanned himself in the mirror. His skin was still pallid, stretched and scarred, his eyes still sunken and dark (though their glow held a brightness to it that it had lacked for some time), His hair was still stringy and white, his mouth was thin, wrinkled and pinched. Lines of pain carved their way from his eyes down across his cheeks. It was unreal, to him. He used to be handsome- with the current state of his memories, it felt as if just yesterday he was a fresh-faced stately magister. Now a husk, a caricature, stared back at him through the mirror. Therean sniffed and his eyes steeled; he may not be pretty anymore, but he would damn well manage tidyness. Straightening his hair and folding his lapels he left the mirror for the Main Hall, where he would await the arrival of the returning Grims.

"Nyali..." he exhaled as he furrowed his brow and clenched his fists. He had let her down.

Nika watched Bryii move to Nyali's side, checking her over to see the extent of her injuries. Her own arm seemed to throb constantly. Whatever toxins had been applied to the tip of the arrow probably would have been far worse in a living target. As for herself, the poison didn't travel far from the point of impact- but it burned furiously. She tightened her fingers around her arm just beneath where the arrow was embedded and kept one eye on Ashenfury. Knowing him- his resolution would probably be to yank it out. She opted to wait until they got back to the guild hall, where it could hopefully be removed in a much less drastic manner.

After Bryii examined Nyali, the group as a whole returned to the guildhall. Nika watched as Nyali was carried in, then turned and looked warily at Therean. Leyu'jin would likely have rejoined them by now. Nika saluted the troll when he entered, then sank down into a chair to listen. Her eyes flicked to Ashenfury, waiting to see if he would question Bryii and get to the bottom of what had happened to her.

(Trying to move this along a little bit so everyone is together rather than dragging it on. And poor Nyali needs to be able to play her character again.) ;)

Bryii sat in a chair with a tome in one hand and a pad to write on. Bryii looking down intently in her book she ignored the others. Bryii's helm was on still and the facegaurd placed downwards, no one could see her face. But of course Bryii was totally silent, not moving very much it would be well known that tears of sadness and anger rolled down her cheeks under her helm. Ashenfury and the others did not say a word to Bryii unless addressed too. Bryii didn't want to show any emotion or weakness to the others. Bryii closed the tome with one hand and brought herself up and looked at the others, the others could feel a dark aura radiating off Bryii when she presented herself.

"Nyali's injuries are non life threatening, although her skin seem to be in a type of shock or burnt if you will. Although someone going through such a beating I know she is psychologically broken at the moment, so it's best to speak to her in whisper. Also do not touch her much as she will react accordingly. Thank you grim for helping her, now she will be staying in my room. Ashenfury the rogue Therean is yours now I need to do other things."

Bryii twisted herself on a heel and walked off back to her room when she walked in seeing Nyali on the bed resting, Bryii shut the door behind her. Bryii slid her body down against the door quietly sobbing maybe the others heard her or chose not too, Bryii felt guilty.
