Nothing can last Eternal....

Unread post by Eternalnight »

Eternalnight was not afraid of death. She had faced it countless times in her reborn life as a Foresaken. For death for her was really nothing more than ending what was borrowed time. For 6 seasons she has been the Eternalnight, and she was not afraid of death.

She was however, afraid that it would come at the hands of that...thing. That thing she had created. She had messed up this time...cutting it too close, and finally getting caught.

Eternalnight packed up a few things that she had in her room in the Centurion Hold. She needed to find someplace to lay low for a while...in hopes that the troll would either forget, die, or something else.

Wait....the goblin. Or troll? What was he now...?

She shrugged. maybe if this blew over she would change him into a monkey or something....

Surely this would blow over. This wasn't the first time she had been in trouble with the Grim....

The meeting with the warlock had gone better than expected. There was no way to avoid what was coming, but maybe...just maybe..there would be a way to return...someday. Eternalnight was at the small table in the World's End Tavern...maybe she could stay hidden a little longer...This place had become a worse run place (if possible) in the past few months. Many of the refugees had sought enrollment to the fight against the Lich King, and even the dragon aspect. So now...very few patrons came through the doors.

Oddly enough she realized, this is where she committed to join the Grim...and now...now...
things dimmed...or did her vision dim? or.....did the light go out?

She sighed. He had found her...time to leave...and hope for a few more days.

Eternalnight let a small smile slip across the wasted remains of her face. This was...the end....not with the pageantry and gallant fanfare that many desired with their last moments, but with a quiet whimper..alone..in the middle of a planet that wasn't even hers...

Wenstell..that bastard of a troll...wait...goblin....tricked her, chased her down...led her here...now, she was wasting away...into..the crumbling...nether...

There would be no revenge, no redemption..there would be nothing. She was free...not even Sylvanas and her cadre of ghouls could bring her back...heh..no one ever brought the undead back from the dead...

As the light faded...as she back a spiral into the nether...Eternalnight let herself slip quickly to madness one last time....just for old time's sake.

The witch of Tirisfal was gone....and she went to the abyss....

that damn light though...eh..the madness will help her tune it out.

Greebo shouldered his satchel as he turned from the door of his rooms in the inn. It seemed lighter than it should but a quick perusal showed nothing missing. He pulled from it a velvet pouch with many small pockets sewn inside. In each pocket nestles a crystal, each glowing faintly with an inner light. One there was that seemed dark. Held up to shadow, however, the faintest spark could be seen, as if coming from very very far away. He nodded to himself. "She warned me this would happen. When the time comes we shall see what can be done."
