I am QUITE certain that in order for any of this to make any kind of sense you're going to need to ignore large chunks of lore and rewrite a few things...

Blizzard isn't really known for the sanctity of their lore. Just look at the rewrites they constantly threw up whenever they needed to add something to the game.

Lore purists will cry.
This is not new.

All Pandaren applying to the Grim must go through a years worth of extensive brain-washing sessions with Greebo.

We'll get them to apply in the first place by offering cookies, of course.

Oh man looking over those new DK talents is giving me the desire to play my DK full time again. Paladin talents, on the other hand, el sucko. Who wants tanking talents as a healer? Ret talents as a tank? Dumb as shit.

I'm disappointed they didn't have anything to say about Titan.

Diablo 3 was the same beta I had a home, but I was excited to try the Demon Hunter's revamped resource system. Unfortunately they burn you through the beta so quick you can't even get to level 5 to actually try out much if any spells. Somewhat disappointed on the PVE side with just the exceptionally brief playtime.

They had team deathmatch instead of arena pvp this year though and it was a lot of fun. The lines for D3 were absurd this year, I guess people like deathmatch better than arena. This was a blast, Warrior and Demon Hunter felt pretty solid on PVP and my buddy and I had great fun destroying people left and right. I two bad sessions on the second day however because the steelseries keyboard I was using would just fire off all my abilities at random, which made for a horrible defeat. And my other horrible run was where the mouse was defective, clicks wouldn't register. I made sure to go to the steelseries booth after that and let them know that their gear sucks.

I didn't play any Starcraft II or DOTA cause I was having too much fun with D3.

Now, Mists of Panderia beta.

My buddy and I rolled a pair of Monks, Panda and Express. Within 2 minutes of playing however, I really wanted to just set down the headphones and walk away. I'm not sure why, but I got a complete polar opposite of Cata Beta. I did not enjoy the experience whatsoever.

I also noticed that the lines to play this particular beta of the expansion was often non-existant and there were droves of un-occupied computers. Not just during WoW panels either, so I'm thinking I'm not exclusive on that feel.

Of note, you all need to go sign up for the Annual Pass, which is a guarantee you'll buy a year of wow (at a cheaper rate I think too), doing so will guarantee that you get beta access to Mists of Panderia at some point AND get you Diablo 3 for FREE via Digital Download.

At the D3 open Q&A, if you opt to purchase the D3 Collector's edition when it comes out while on the annual pass, you'll get a credit to your Annual Pass cost. So um, win win there.

GO GET YOUR ANNUAL PASS NOW. You can pay month to month, you don't need to buy a year in one shot, you're gonna play WoW anyway. GO, GO NOW, it's a limited time offer. GO GO GO.

RIGHT NOW, STOP READING THIS.

If you actually look at them, the Paladin talents are pretty clever. They're predominantly built around providing different flavours of utility, all of which have value for any spec. Of course, they're probably going to rebalance a lot of class abilities in addition to this, so there's no real value in starting to theorycraft them now. But there's very little "this is an X spec" ability in the Paladin talent tree right now, with a couple of exceptions.

Oh I agree with the talents still needing an overhaul and such but I look at the talents from a Healadin point of view. Most of the talents there are flavor at best and not really worth it. As a Tankadin though many nice talents.

I made the mistake of looking at the DK talents which are far more useful then as a Paladin due to the Paladin's 3 possible roles.

You'll get everything that's mandatory just by choosing your specialization (which is not out yet). The talents are all CC, utility, and a few are damage/healing buffs.

It'd be a pretty elaborate prank, considering I was hands on with it.

It was set up and playable at Blizzcon. You can't get much more legit than that.

Blizzard has never shirked from putting in the effort where they want to.

Titan is released next Tuesday, WoW servers shutting down. See ya!
