(IC) What is your class?  Why?
I am a Rogue. From an early age, I was trained as a scout like my father before me. I later joined the Farstriders where I was used as an assassin and spy. Since the fall and rise of the Sunwell, I have become more of a dagger for hire. Though I still keep a network of informants at my disposal. As odd as it is for a Sin'dorei, I find the embrace of the Shadows more of a home than the Sun that my race so reveres.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
I'm an elder Sin'doeri. I've been around to see much war and strife. My hair is silver and my skin is sickly pale. <sigh> Probably because I am always in the shadows skulking about. I admit that I'm not an elf of many words... unless the “job” calls for it. I consider myself a pretty serious and patient individual. Sometimes, it's best to wait to find the most opportune time to strike.

(IC) What drives you in life?  Why does it take you to The Grim?

What drives me in life? Such an broad question. I survive... no matter the cost. I admit that at my age, I have grown bitter at times. However, while I still breath, I will commit to the pursuit of power as any self-respecting Sin'dorei should.

I must say that I have many objectives of my own, too many to list here.. It just so happens that I believe The Grim to be the vehicle for my ambitions.


(IC) What did you do prior to applying to The Grim?  What brought you to us?

I do not wish to bore you with my life story (unless I get suitably paid). I have hinted to my work as an assassin and spy. I found a letter on an alliance Rogue (okay, I killed him sifting for information, sue me) that had a bit of interesting information about The Grim. From there, I used my informants to learn more about your activities. I believe we can find a suitable arrangement, one that will benefit both The Grim and, no doubt... myself.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?

I have served the Horde in many battles and have grown tired of the hypocrisy the Alliance has shown. While I understand the reason for diplomacy, war poses greater opportunity for individuals like myself.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion of their members to be their characters.  How do you define role-playing?

As the name suggests, playing a role. You create a backstory and theme behind a character and see where it takes you while interacting with other characters. It's like improv acting in a way.

OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I have been roleplaying on WoW since launch day of vanilla. While I don't consider myself an expert, I do consider myself at least well experienced.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  What type? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers)

I have played on three different servers. I typically prefer PVP not only because it's very engaging but also because it's not as time consuming. I rarely raid because I don't like to play for really long stretches of time plus I have tons of alts to play.

(OOC) Is this an alt of a current full Grim member? If so, what full member?

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?

Looking for an active RP guild, the last few RP guilds I've been in have fizzled out because the leadership either leave the game or don't play much. I'm looking for a well-rounded guild who doesn't mind a casual (but active) player.
