Ozmagoil Witchoil

(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Ozmagoil Witchoil: Mystagogue of the Witchoils.

(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I am Goblin, of the fairer, superior gender.

(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- Like my Auntie Thespina and Grandmother Mathala-Olive before me, I am a Priestess. In each generation there is only one Mystagogue, and this generation has been fortunate enough to get me! It’s a gift sweetie, I was born with it.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- *exhales long and languidly as she ponders herself, her pen poised, ink dripping everywhere* Oh where to start. I am Able, Beautiful beyond reason, and Cunning. That’s the A,B, and C of it. There’s really not enough room here for me to go into it all, we’ll have tea soon enough at one of my soiree’s. You can hear all about me.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- Well, now we’re down to business aren’t we? I would never rely on the mathematical ability of another, but for documentations sake, I am responsible for the death of over twenty five thousand…and counting, darlings.

(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- Freedom, power, and staying on top, it’s plain and simple. Manipulation through fear and death. *cackling as she continues to reflect on her life thus far* The poor fools who are born with lesser faculties in life are meant to serve. They are comfortable, if not happy. Peace through annihilation sweeties, once the trash has been taken out for good, we’ll all be left to enjoy the spoils.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- As I’ve said, I’m a Priestess, and in my family there can be only one. Our Patron is Griz-Griz: an aspect of the Goblin Shadow God.. He takes the form of a great Rat, dripping with gold ornaments and jewels of the earth and plump of belly. Griz-Griz: patron of shadows, poison, disease, and survival. I serve as his High Priestess and am afforded luxury and influence because of it. Assassins here will learn to covet my blessings and offer tribute, as they did on Kezan.
Aside from that, but equally interesting and impressive as I’m sure you’ll all agree, I am the current reigning beauty queen “Miss Bog-Lotus”. *scrunches her brows* I’d be surprised if you haven’t heard of me already. In any case, if you’ve heard that bit about the other contestants dying do to some poison dress fiasco, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s a damned shame they had to go that way, but fate chose the right Bog-Lotus Queen, obviously. At least they looked good when they died.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- He is either a genius or a fool. I’ve heard that the human woman has ensorcelled his mind. I’ve done it myself *crosses that out*, I mean to say, I’ve heard of mind tampering at diplomatic negotiations a thousand and four times. Either way, does it really matter? Blood runs in the streets, just the way we like it, it‘s great for business.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- RP is something we “do”. It is the manor in which we approach the game. Everything I do in game, I do as my character, and expect and appreciate others doing the same.

(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
-Ozmagoil wants only to be at the top of the food chain and to be adored. Peace through annihilation is perfect. A merger with The Grim is the obvious move. She is manipulative, has few scruples, adores being surrounded by the elite, and will do whatever it takes to get there, stepping on as many people as possible on her way up. As far as her enemies, the more bodies on the floor, the more glorious those who are left standing appear.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I’ve played table top games back in the day. I’ve been playing WOW since close to launch. I’ve been an officer in a few other guilds, often heading up there RP events and larger story lines. I love nothing more than to have good strong RP characters around to interact with. It’s why I loved reading what you guys were about. It’s not easy to find. I’d say I’m pretty experienced but would love to learn more.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- Yup. I’ve been on Emerald Dream since it’s launching. I've played on both factions. I have history with only 2 guilds, I'm not a Guild hopper. In the case you want references, please PM me and I'd be happy to forward the names of my former GM's.
As far as PVP, I’m a bit of a BG junkie at times. Last arena season was my first attempt at it. My 2’s and 5’s did pretty well considering. I think my 2’s got to 1400 and my 5’s about the same.
I raided all through BC completing Kara, Gruuls, Mags, SSC, TK, and a small bit of BT.
I saw up to Lich King during Wrath in 10 man, but I did not see him downed. We ended at 11/12.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- I plan on moving my priest to TN and renaming her Ozmagoil as a Goblin.

(OOC) Is this an alt of a current full Grim member? If so, what full member?
-No

(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- I want and expect what I read about. In character Guild chat with other mature minded players. I love RP but I can’t stand emo bar drama. I prefer action over inaction and I gravitate towards darker characters. You have a solid structure and standards. I appreciate both.

(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
-I tend to play later, as I’m Pacific time, after 7 or 8 server time. A few times a month I have heavy work schedules over a weekend and won’t sign on much for a few days then I will have 2 weeks completely off and be on more regularly.

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?

Hmm, just that I’ve spoken to Eclypse, who was very helpful with some questions I had. I also wrote Greebo through the site and he too was very helpful. It’s appreciated. Peace through Annihilation!

Untill our paths cross,
Ozmagoil Witchoil

((Someone from Nyx, eh? I'm a guy who used to be in Kingship of the East for years. Despite the fact that we regularly wiped the floor with you guys, I will still say welcome to a better server, and a better guild :). Nice to see another PST-based person, too. There aren't a tonne of us from what I can tell, especially not Canadians like myself, heh. ))

((... well this is creepy. Yes, it's me. Welcome to a less political BS-filled guild. Several other old KoE members are here as well, largely at my ecouragement. You'll be seeing some familiar faces. I also take it that Nastina is who I think it is? Speaking of names... which of you is which?

To any inquisitor; solid player and RP'er. Known the individual for quite some time. Would be a fine asset to us.

... to anyone else: I swear I'm not trying to migrate the entirety of the "good people" from my old guild to this one. Really.))

Another goblin. Might be useful.

A detail is lacking.

*Greebo scans the form*
So the vaunted goblin penchant for engineering and commercial detail doesn't translate well into filling in a simple form. Perhaps she left her wits on the island. I trust her vast wealth will be used to convert her slave camps into death camps.

* mumbling to herself as she grabs another quill and vellum, this time dousing it in her most pungeat musky perfume..." MIGHT be useful...HA.......left my wits on the island.....how do you DARE!? *

She writes:

Welcome is the chance to prove my worth. As far as other Goblins who might have found there lonely, tired, homely little way to The Grim, well, have another look at them, they don't equal ME! A goblin mob breeds treachery, I'll bring peace to the unruley by quickly annihilating a good 50% of them. They need someone to tell them what to do anyway.

With love,
Ozmagoil Witchoil

Ozmagoil sits side saddled on an oceanside bench. The mailbox looms next to her, the object of her current obsession. Her positioning perfectly planned so that the light sea breeze tussles her hair in just such a way over one eye. She knows she looks good. Patience was never one of her strong points, so she grits her teeth and struggles to maintain the picture of being a perfect lady: the docksmen continue to shoot her looks. Noticing one stubborn stain on her petite, perfectly pointed shoes, she breaks her pose with a start. Sitting up, she daintily removes a silken handkerchief monogrammed with a large ornate “W” enclosed in a large “O”. The witch oil family crest. Unfolding it methodically she spits into it, vigorously punishing the last stain from her perfect foot wear.
She sighs. She waits. She considers throwing a tantrum, and thinks better of it. Too many eyes around.

A young postal man approaches, his shadow falls long over her as he riffles through his parcels. He glances up at her. She smiles, gritting her teeth, attempting to be nice, preparing herself for a compliment. She cranes her neck as to reposition herself in better lighting. All the while, her eyes fixed on his stack of letters.

"Hello again.", the postman mutters, his eyes not leaving the bundle in his arms.

" Oh what a surprise, is it time for the post to run already?" Ozmagoil is nearly vibrating, waiting for a return letter in her name.

“Anything for Witchoil running today?” She wrings her fingers.

The postman inhales deeply and his reply is delivered through a long drawn out sigh.

“No. As I’ve told you several times now, when your post comes, you will be the first to know.”

Was he getting snarky with her? Was that a sneer on his face? How dare he disrespect me out in public! And when I’m looking so irresistible and vulnerable she thought.

Ozmagoil approaches him slowly, her face serene and angelic.

“I do apologize for my impatience.” She pats him on the back lightly, bringing a smile to his face, she palms her handkerchief with her other hand, slipping it into the young postmans pocket unnoticed.

“I am new to this land and anticipate news from my ailing mother you see, she has been sick for so long and my heart aches for news. Forgive me won’t you?”

He turns on her with a start. “ Oh how terrible. My sympathies Miss. My heart does go out to you. Happy will be the moment I hand you that much anticipated letter.” He smiles warmly. “I’m sure it will come any day now”.

Ozmagoil returned the smile, pivoting on the heel of her pointy shoes and marched directly over to the docks guardsmen. The postman, securing his parcels, began to make his way down the dock to the next mailbox. Turning, he notices the small Goblin woman speaking to the guards. Her arms animated and pointing roughly in his direction, was she crying?

Ozmagoil felt a little better after the ordeal was over. Her handkerchief returned, the postman arrested for thievery. But still no damned parcel from The Grim. Sighing she repositioned herself, just so, as to catch the most complimentary light from the now setting sun. She would have to wait.
