- Dere ain' no pact - dere mebbeh word dat say so, but dere ain' no action dat say so too. T'rall ain' been alive long enough ta know how ta deal wid t'ing like dey should be done wid.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- Full-immersion RP seems as though it would require more to be done in-character than out-of-character - going all the way with the roleplay instead of half-assing it.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- Pretty closely - Jivah has no love for the Alliance, but I think she's a bit more crazy and kookoo than structured. She can follow an order as long as it isn't something she doesn't want to do, and, well - that part's up to me, isn't it? I don't see very much conflict being an issue, and any conflict that does happen will be the good ol' normal character-development conflict.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- Gary wot? I have a little roleplay experience offline; most of my experience has been in World of Warcraft.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- Lots, yes. I've been playing since a month or two before Burning Crusade and I've done it all, mostly on Twisting Nether. Most of my WoW experience is with raiding, but I was on an arena team long enough to determine that I don't like arenas.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- Neither.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- RP guilds on Twisting Nether seem to have moved from "prevalent" to "practically non-existent", which is sad. As an RPer, I hope to find kind of a "port in the storm" where I can enjoy playing the game with like-minded individuals while avoiding all the "LOL GUYS SUP" that's out there right now.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
- My schedule is pretty open for the most part, but I'm usually not available mid-week in the evenings. I don't play past 11 server (I need to wake up early), but I can play during the day and on the weekends - though I try and maintain a healthy balance between non-WoW stuff and the game.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.
- http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... r&cn=Jivah
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
- Mama Jivah see lotsa war, but always readeh ta fight more if dat what need ta be done. Mebbeh de onleh way me gonna see peace is t'rough da annihilation of every'ting dat ain' me. Mebbeh not. Da Loa ain' tellin' me one way or da oddah yet - but if dey do, den Mama Jivah gonna do what need ta be done.
- (OOC) FYI - my impressive ZERO honorable kills is due to this character being a young one and the fact that reaching level 80 is my priority. I won't run from combat out in the world but I prefer questing to battlegrounds at this stage of the character so I won't be taking her into them anytime soon. Just a note of explanation.

Re: Jivah
After depositing her little scribe back in the orphanage in mostly good shape - save for a deepened wish never to associate with trolls again for the rest of her life - she returned to set up "camp" outside the guild hall. She dozed lightly, but was never too asleep to miss a passing opportunity - her frequent cackling laughter could be heard up and down the street as she promised "good hex" for anyone who walked by exhibiting some form of malady of the body or spirit. Which, as far as Jivah was concerned, was everyone.
One of her ears twitched as Xondor grumbled his verdict and she hopped up from her cross-legged position, poking her head in the door. "Eh dere, grumpeh-preddeh! You soun' like you goddah bad juju dat ya be so grumbleh - Mama Jivah fix you up nice, yah?" Without waiting for a response, she unrolls a new skin and begins making crude, illegible marks on it with charcoal while muttering to herself. "Grum...peh...orc...pre...ddeh...need...ha...ppeh...voo...doo..."
Her living necklace raises its head and looks sleepily at Xondor, but does not unwind itself from around the troll's neck.
((Aquizit - that time works just fine for me!))
