-Male, & Sin'Dorei.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I am a soldier, during my childhood, it would not be a rare case to see me with a blade in my hands & a spoon in my mouth. I grew up with it, holding soldiering as a normality in life. With my... thanks to the Na'aru, I maintain a keen control over the light, and I retain much of the Blood Knight training I have experienced over the years.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
-I am not one for pretense, preferably I anticipate that one makes their own assumption of me, and we leave it at that. But, if absolutely necessary, I see myself.. or at least retain a self-image of a soldier, as I stated before. I seek nothing more, or nothing less.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
-As I previously checked, little over twenty-thousand.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-Despite my best wishes, I have little to drive me except hatred. Many would say that is the best thing to hold, but I am skeptical. The Grim would benefit me, to be very blatant, with giving me a cause. Something to drive me.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-Once again, despite my best wishes, previously I would find my self on joint excursions within Ulduar, or fighting for fame in the Crusader Proving Grounds in Icecrown. I've kept rather dormant in these past couple of months, in.. mourning, if you will. Now, I seek something to drive me, and as it stands, this would be your Mandate.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-The Alliance prove to be nothing less than cowards and murderers of my people. They deserve nothing less than death, period. I don't intend to venture any further on the subject.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-I play World of Warcraft to escape my real life problems for a few hours, and most importantly, to enjoy myself. This means incorporating my imagination in what I do, which in my case, and I'm sure several others, would be to Role-play. I'd consider it nothing less than a bonus to The Grim environment.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
-My character is a former Alliance-sympathizer, but has been proven absolutely wrong, his entire life being destroyed by acts of the Human race. He seeks nothing but vengeance for those he has lost because of them, and is interested in a reason to do it. The Grim offers him this, and he cannot help but take the offer.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I've been role-playing for roughly two years, spread out amongst two years between World of Warcraft & Dungeons and Dragons. I wouldn't necessarily consider myself a beginner under any circumstance, but I do believe that there is always room for improvement, and I'm hoping to expand my role-playing experience within The Grim.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-I've been playing World of Warcraft for four years, as it stands. I believe I was at my peak during The Burning Crusade. I was a heavy PvPer, focusing on arena during all of Season Three, getting to alittle over a 2k rating on this battle group. I've raided everything up to ICC. Unfortunately I was compelled to quit for the past six months, missing out on Icecrown Citadel, but for the remainder of the content, I have indeed seen be it on my Orc Warrior, or this Paladin. I've strictly adhered to one absolute necessity when picking my World of Warcraft guilds, and that is that they must be RP guilds, thusly I have stuck to my guns in that case, and I fully intend too.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
-It is a server transfer, I've been between Emerald Dream, Lightninghoof, Wyrmrest Accord, and now Twisting Nether.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-I am completely interested in returning to the raiding scene. I've always considered myself to be a very disciplined raider, I am never late, never without reagents, and always updated on elitistjerks.com to 100% maximize the potential of my raid slot. As a PvPer, I have been in love with world PvP, and I am ashamed to say, that in the previous year of my WoW career, I have been on a non-PvP server. I am very interested to get back into that, and to maintain my occasional battle-ground entry. Although I previously was very interested into the arena scene, despite my best efforts, it provides alittle too much stress and anger for me, so I try to stray away from that.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
-Usually any day I don't have previous plans, with the exception of Friday & Saturday evenings, usually from 1:00 PM Server Time to 11:00 PM ST, or later depending on how I am feeling. Not necessarily saying I STAY on this entire time, but my ranges would normally vary between that.
