- The tauren, a female with black fur and blue eyes, nods a few times at the question. "Yes'm, I'm Nokokomah Darkstorm, raised by th' Brighthoof tribe. Pleased to meet you."
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- She doesn't look quite so taken aback this time at the question, though her expression is still a bit nonplused. "Ma'am, I'm a female tauren..."
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- "I'm a shaman," she responds. "I've felt th' call of th' elements since I was a youngin', simply there weren't no other choice." A grin creeps across her face briefly. "I'd explain, but I'm 'fraid I can't, ma'am."
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- "Oh... a bit of a wild child, anyway. At least, that's what my foster ma always called me, so that's what I call myself. Oh, she taught me to listen up all right, she with that scary fryin' pan of hers, but I make my own way in life, no doubt of that." She chuckles.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- The tauren blinks a few times. "Well, I don't rightly know... Probably... None? I ain't been one to spend my time where most other folks roam lately, though don't get me wrong, I ain't any lover of them pinkskins."
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- "I'm driven by th' desire to find out... why things happen, I s'pose. The good things. The bad things." Her head tilts, fixing the interviewer with one blue eye. "That way, you can decide which happens. Hmm?"
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- "Oh, I travelled around quite a bit. Still do, really. Happiest when I've got unturned earth beneath my hooves, all that." She shrugs.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- A frown lowers her brow. "That's between them two, far as I'm concerned. I only owe loyalty to those I done sworn myself to. All else, they still gotta prove themselves before I give 'em more respect than they rightly deserve."
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- What that means to me is basically treating roleplay as a passion and not just a diversion. I mean, it's fun, it's a game, but it's something you really want to invest creative energy in. Hopefully that makes sense!
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- I expect there to be very little conflict, actually. Noko has elements of the same sort of intensity and structure in her life, for various reasons I won't bore you with.
It'll be interesting to see how she and members of the Grim interact and possibly influence one another.(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- Pretty well experienced, mostly online in free-form settings.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- I have a few other characters, none much higher than Noko, most of which are healers. I like healing! I haven't done a lot of PvP but it seems interesting. Raiding, I'm not sure I'd be interested in, though.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- Neither.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Looking for a fun and interesting community with a lot of chances to roleplay! To have the chance to make a wider impact on the roleplaying community by being in such a well-known and respected guild sounds amazing, too.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
