Tarrus Bearborn
(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-Tarrus Bearborn
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-A Male Shu'halo
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I follow the path of the wild, the Druid. I was trained as a warrior by my father, who saw no potential in me to become a Druid, even though he was Druidic himself. Once he discovered I shifted into a bear myself, he no longer saw doubt in me. He instantly began his training on me as a Druid.
The years passed and the story goes on, but I'll leave out the details for now. In short, his death was a sign that I not only should focus on my feral side, but also my gift of the sun. My healing. Through these powers, I seek to protect the Shu'Halo and I promise you, I will do that.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
-Old, feeble. Some of the younger Druids are beginning to think I've lost my edge. I might have, while I am relaxing atleast. But when danger surrounds me, my bones become strong and my muscles become tense. The only difference from my strength now compared to when I was a young bull is the fact I've grown stronger and wiser.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
-Just short of 7,000
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-I'm driven to protect the Shu'Halo, as I mentioned earlier. I've accompanyed the Grim once to sack Ironforge. I went with 5 other members of your guild, but we eventually failed. However, we failed with a powerful ratio. We were all knocked out, but before we went down, we averaged a ratio of one of our knock outs to 69 of their deaths. There is no way you wouldn't benefit from me.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-I was and still am a mentor of the Cenarion Circle. I understand you seek death to the Alliance, but no Night Elf shall be harmed while they remain in Moonglade. I'm a Druid first and a Warrior second. I did fight the Scourge's forces alongside both Sedition and Knights Dawnsend, but they are in a state now where they no longer need my services.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-Before Varian, it was Staghelm. He was tolerable. Since Varian has arrived at the Alliance's doorstep, I am now on the offense against them. Anyone who willingly follows Varian's orders will be executed. No torture, no pain, but a very swift death.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-Your RP rules are requiring me to change my story just a tad, but I can work with that. I roleplay anyways. While I might be silent in a PvE raid, that's only because I give full focus to raiding. I RP frequently and I'm so glad you do too.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
-Tarrus' personality and story doesn't really follow your beliefs, but I can make it work easily. He is more of a peacekeeper who only fights when provoked, but I'll make IC reasons to do the acts you ask of him. I expect an RPing environment, organized and clean raids, and a helluva fun time.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-Gary Gygax, definitely. I've been roleplaying for 5 years now. I started in Warcraft lll's DobRP. If you don't know what that was, I definitely reccomend you look into it. I almost think the RP from DobRP is better than WoW's. I know how to roleplay a strong character without the Mary Sue complex, and I research the lore of WoW for fun. I don't think the WoW lore is trashed, but the new Garona's son is starting to scare me.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-Not sure how to answer that other than saying I've been playing since November '04 off and on. I've done all the aspects of WoW, Horde and Alliance, PvE RP and PvP, and different servers.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
-Nope.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-Like I said, clean and organized raids, occasional PvP, great RP atmosphere, and a good time.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Lascivious.
-...I love the idea of this. But, crap, I don't have a real defined schedule. I guess I only play after 3 PM server on week days and weekends are too spontaneous to even answer, but I'll be on most of sunday... Probably.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

"Nope, he missed it too. Try again."
*summons his Imp, slices a cut into one of its finger tips and dribbles some blood onto the table. Dipping a quill into the pool, he scrawls

Re: Tarrus Bearborn
The application is complete, but an introduction is still missing.
Correct this, tauren.

((I'm pretty sure I have the introduction up. You just ask for a letter, right?))
Re: Tarrus Bearborn
(( there is a nit-picky detail - go over the instructions to filling out that form again to see what you missed ))

Re: Tarrus Bearborn
Ahem, it seems no-one was available to meet you, of which I am deeply regretful.
Return next Sunday, or the Mistress will contact you before then.
[
Sorry, you sprung this on a Sunday of which I was busy and we didn't have any other applicants, so... I think everyone had plans!
Woo RL!
We'll catch you soon!

Please, don't worry about it. I tried staying up as long as I could, but I ended up collapsing on a couch at 7:15 PM. I woke up at 12, crawled to my bed, and went back to sleep. I'm happy it wasn't solely my fault.
I'm open today for any time until 10, so just whisper me in game or mail me.
