If you like Sword & Sorcery Fiction and haven't read the series/collection of short stories(well, the first six books or so anyway. Anything after that I can't vouch for), it doesn't get much better.

thieves world ftw. also the next series by Lynn Abbey is pretty good too. One novel, one book of short stories so far.

Well Llark is just Lark.. the extra L has a story to it RP-wise that I'll relate in his in-progress bio. With Djarret, the D is as silent as the P in Pterodactylus.. so it's just Jarret.. although some have refered to him as D.J.

I tried Thieves World when I was a kid, I couldn't get into it. Maybe I wsan't old enough to get it. Crap am i almost as old as Muatah?

* Shinwa = Sheen-wah
* Alanathalasa = A-lah-nah-tha-lah-sah (<--did that clear it up or make it worse? yah Dragonlance!)

the first couple thieves world books were good but after that i wasn't as interested. however it was many years ago that i read them, so i've been mispronouncing lyth's name too
