Kylye
(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- Kylye, which is short for Kylyethananora. So Kylye please, I’d rather not be reminded of the horrible mess that my parents inflicted on me.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-Female blood elf
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- Blood Knight, Paladin... labels mean little. These ‘borrowed’ energies from the Naaru afforded me the best chance to achieve my goals.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I find myself conflicted by who I am and what I am. I am a contradiction that confounds my enemies and confuses my friends. I know that I’m heart-breakingly beautiful, but like the rose, I have bramble in my nature that can cut. Many foes have underestimated me due to my slight stature and appearance. I suggest you DO NOT make the same grievous mistake, or you will not get a second opportunity.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
- Power and Ambition. What else is there? Power over the weak, the oppressed, the downtrodden, and the Alliance. Take power from whoever isn’t strong enough to take it for themselves. Ambition to see the so called Alliance burn in flames, and soak in their own blood. The Grim offers both, to those worthy of receiving them.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I have always been an outsider, and more prone to action than social niceties. I have always shunned organized groups because I believed they were incompatible with my own code. I was unaware that a group such as The Grim existed before I met Skash. I have pondered the advantages of allying myself with a group such as this, and have concluded that you will make me stronger, or die trying to achieve your goals. Either recourse is acceptable to me, as if you die, someone more worthy will fill your space.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- Our Warchief is mistaken to believe that any one of the lesser races can be trusted. Peace is a lie told to placate the weak. Thrall will not condone slavery as benefits his own past. This leaves annihilation, and suits me just fine.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-I’m sure that like your members that were around in the late 70s and 80’s I played Dungeons and Dragons (basic and 1st edition For all you mid 30’s people out there.) for most of my childhood and young adult life. I grew up reading all manner of fantasy and science fiction. I see Role Play as escapism. I have a very stressful, high profile job in the real world, and enjoy not being me for a bit.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
- Destruction of enemies is key. Kylye is a weapon to be used against the Alliance. The Grim will make her stronger, or it will break her and discard her because she wasn’t worthy. Rules are created by the strong and powerful, Kylye will follow them until they are proven weak, in which case she will try to kill them, and take her rightful place as a leader.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I consider myself an advanced role player. Unfortunately my favorite RP character I’ve created over the years is an idiotic, drunken dwarf battlerager named Ramrod Tunneltrudger that thinks he’s immortal due to some ridiculous luck with some dice in his early adventures. He had violently orange and purple hair, piercings, and a thick Scottish accent. . I regularly reduced my party to tears of laughter and frustration as I would tramp down main boulevards in monster strewn ruins clanging my axe on my shield, and shouting “Here monster, monster, monster!â€

Re: Kylye
I care not at all about your interest in Skash. I shall bring only myself, as always. Any Grim who wish to be present to see what has crawled to our doorstep from amongst the mad is, as always, welcome.

A blood spattered, brain crusted piece of paper
High Inquisitor, perhaps I missed seeing you in the carnage at Grommash hold this evening. I did not quite have to crawl over all of the bodies of the Alliance, but I did appreciate the warm welcome, they were delicious. The Grim and I will speak further some other evening I presume.

Re: Kylye
Again high inquisitor my apologies, it seems that I must have taken one or two too many blows to the head this evening, and lost track of time. I was early for our appointment, and will most likely not be able to make our originaly scheduled one. If luck is with me I may still see you.
( I have difficulty logging in the evenings due to my child care scenario, and my wife's work, perhaps we can meet on a Saturday or Sunday morning?)
