Flabbergasted. That is the word of the day.
Background: I work in an IT dept. supporting presentation equipment, audio equip, video conferencing equipment, touch panels, etc. I have probably about 100 rooms that I support (Seriously, not exaggerating here. Skash could confirm if he was still in Wow).
So, a fellow IT co-worker comes to me and says he can't get the audio working in a room. I ask, "Did you turn the amp on?" to which his response is, "There's an amp in there?" so then I'm asking, "Did you check the website for all the rooms to see the manuals?" He knows about this website and uses it. His response, "No."
Yep. Flabbergasted.
Why do I feel like I'm in a Dilbert like TV show??
gees.

Manuals are for the weak.

One of the joys of being a tech writer is knowing that no matter what I write in a user manual, nobody on the face of the planet is ever going to read the damn thing.
Ever.
Seriously I could insert a chapter on playing Dwarf Fortress into this guide I'm working on right now and nobody would ever know.
