A small messenger comes running up to the halls of the Grim huffing and barely able to grasp words together. His eye are blood shot and his heart is racing. He must have been running for days with barely a break.
He manages to collect himself and starts to ramble off a tale.
I dunno much Grim and I dare not leave you with such little details, but a small town I was stationed at in Netherstorm, kind of a clean up crew as Im sure you know demons still roam the land aimlessly. Your hunter showed up and said they remained not cause there was no where else to go but because something was driving them there.
She set off with a handful of people she rallied in the tower, anyone from maintenance workers, janitor... she might have had a soldier or two but not much. They headed out she was almost gone mad and disillusions of grandeur she spoke in haste and barely able to understand the words she said. I dunno how she managed to collect those who she got.
I wish I could tell you more, a goblin Mixt Sparkwheel returned to our town 3days after they set out. he rambled on about a demon... different they any he seen before. It had the ability to displace its appearance with you, you becoming it and it becoming you. Its tactic completely confused us, some men were not trained for such thing and started killing each other. Karitha he said got a few lucky shots and wounded the creature, whatever it was. It opened what looked like a portal and jumped through fleeing.... I have never seen anything like it before. A rift? a portal opened? I dont understand.. maybe the Goblin seen it wrong. We could not question Mixt anymore as his wounds were to great and he passed out and he shortly died. He did mention your Karitha jumped into the unknown with the creature following it, as it closed neither of the two were seen again. What has happened to Karitha I dunno. Frankly we have our handful to replenish the people we lost and give them a decent farewell. I need to go back. They need us all to return. Grim good luck.
