(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- I am the Beast Master Sandino, or just Sandino to my friends. As of now that only includes my pets.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- Very Male and very Goblin
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- I am a Beast Master. Ever since I was a child I've had a special connection with animals and beasts. Later in life I developed the ability to link souls with some of the most exotic beasts in the world. This allows me to command them in battle, and to sometimes let my beast within out for a playdate with my opponents.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- I've taken the lives of nine thousand three hundred and forty souls who have gotten in between me and money.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- Money and the acquisition of large sums of it. Mostly by nefarious means. The alliance and this damn war is in my way. Peace through anhiliation should give me the chance to reap the benefits of war, and set me up for financial domination after it.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- Ive been honing my Beast Master skills and powers, and getting money of course.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
- It's not profitable. When in doubt....blow it up.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- While new to RP in WoW (although a very experienced wow player) This type of gameplay seems really appealing to me. I absolutely love reading and writing, especialy the fantasy genre (although I haven't written any) I am studying acting, and immersing myself totally into a character... is kinda all acting is about lol. I think it would be a great experience to strengthen my creative abilities.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
- It doesn't conflict with the way I want to play my character. Since my character is so vain and selfish in terms of material wealth I think it will provide for good conflict when he has to follow the structure of the guild and try to introspectively manipulate situations to his benefit.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- Well I guess in terms of technical role-playing I am definetly a beginner. But as I have mentioned I consider myself creative and able, if not very willing to try and fully immerse myself in a character.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
- Yes this is a recent server transfer with the specific intent on applying to The Grim. Reading the guild's recruitment post is actually the driving force behind me transfering here because it stated clearly in their purpose EXACTLY what I'm looking for in WoW, which is player development THROUGH player progression. I am from Mal Ganis, previous name of this toon was Wadeboggs who's namesake is my favorite baseball player. I have 3 other level 85's and my Priest has been my main forever, but I am seriously considering making my hunter my main as I have exclusively played him for the past few weeks.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Well I think I mentioned it, role-playing through player progression. My specific gameplay focus is pvp over pve, but I love doing almost anything in this game. I love Bg's, Arena, and Wpvp. I have 2400 arena exp as a priest and I hope I can bring a positive element to the guild's pvp.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Qarosimae.
- I am online pretty much every night. I know that is general but I honestly am online way too much. I will be away this Weekend (Fri-Sun night) If that is too general then I will say every night next week after 6pm eastern. I can play however long I want.
