(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-I'm not going to bother giving you my full name. You probably can't pronounce it anyway. You may call me Daviani. If that's too difficult, you may simply call me Dav. It may save the time it takes for you to sputter out my name anyway.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-I'm a masculine Sin'dorei. Not one of those sub-breeds, like kaldorei. For your life's sake, you better be able to tell the difference.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I have been trained, and have been in the service of my glorious city of Silvermoon as one of her Silvermoon City Guardians. After the fall of the Lich King, and as Azeroth was being ripped apart, I have taken up my blades as a Warrior beyond the city, for the glory of Silvermoon. I had enough of standing around, waiting for Alliance to attack our city. I will go out and kill them.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
-I'm not sure. I will have to ask a Battlemaster the next time I see one. I used to hone my skills in little battles, in places like Warsong, but I have no desire to play games with the Alliance. I would rather be killing them in ether Wintergrasp, Tol Barad, or in one of their citys. Big, glorious, killing fields of battle. I REALLY want to kill that human those betraying bastards call "King".
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-What drives me? Perfection. We relied on the Sunwell. We were dependant. We were weak, and we felt the loss when we lost the Sunwell. True power comes from our rage and blades. I may admit that I still feel some cravings when I watch mana being worked, and recognising that fuels my rage. To have such a.. weakness. Weakness is to be overcome.
How will the Grim benefit from having me? Who wouldn't. My blades and I are ready to kill for the glory of the Horde, wether it be in dungeons, or Alliance cities. I am often asked to join by other guilds. It is your ideals that appeal to me, and I believe we can benefit from each other.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-I stood around in Silvermoon, waiting for Alliance to attack. Recently, I have ventured out of Eversong Woods, and Ghostlands, into dungeons, to Vashj'ir, Mount Hyjal, Deepholm, Uldum, and the Twilight Highlands.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
-I wouldn't say that much has changed in Silvermoon itself. I do like that new leader the orcs have. His ideals reflect my own. Too bad he's just an orc.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-(OOC) It means that I get to enjoy roleplaying a character without trying to decifer too many acronyms and bad jokes that do not relate to a RP server. Not that I don't mind the bad jokes, but I would rather roleplay on a RP server.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
-I would say that Daviani is a Naturally Evil character that is used to working within a military structure. I think he can fit into a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. He's bloodthursty; loves war; and killing in the big battlefields he dreams of. The guy would probably enjoy eatting gnome babies for entries.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I don't have much roleplaying experience. I've casually played with a couple friends in animation collage. I've had to be able to place myself in the roles of characters in order to create storylines there though. So, I guess I have some experience. I should note that I don't often say much. Daviani is similar in that respect, though for very diffrent reasons. I write plenty. But I just don't talk much. Daviani doesn't say much ether because he can be a bit of a snob. If Daviani talks, he may not say very much. Or you might catch him muttering in Sin'dorian. It's usually best not to ask him what he is saying then: He's probably insulting your character.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
-I created Daviani on this server during the events of the Cataclysm.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-Guduk recomended this guild to me. I don't really have any expectations of the guild. Part of the reason that I would like to join this guild is that it is RP. It seems to be a good RP guild, from what I have seen from watching Guduk play. Its not a cookie-cut "we're noble good guys" guild. It's not a "lets pretend we're sparkleing vampires" guild. And because I'm getting pretty sick and tierd of "PLEZ JOIN MI GUILD {UNICORNS} or whatever" requests everytime I take two steps. I just want to play; relax; but not stand around in a city, trying to figure out what I want to do. I would like to log on thinking "They're planning on raiding Stormwind this evening. I've been waiting all week for this evening, and I'm soo up for this."
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Thalevia.
-My schedule will probably be a little erratic: I have to be up for work most days at 5am Atlantic Standard Time, and I'm usually exausted by the time I get home. If there is an event the guild is planning, I will check my schedule and let you know if I am intrested. Most of the time I may have time to just doing something solo, or with a small party. I will probably just support guild members when I can. I've maxed out mining and skinning, so I can offer support by giving excess ore and leather that I find if requested.

- (IC) "Peace Through Annihilation!" (OOC) Actually, Daviani is more of of a just "Annihilation!" kind of elf. War satisfied his bloodthirt, he hates Alliance, but if there were no more Alliance left, he would probably set his sights to killing some other "inferior" race. Likely Trolls. So, as long as there is Alliance, and war, he's "happy". It's a good thing they seem to breed like rats.
