(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I hail from what is now referred to as the Outlands and I give my allegiance to Thrall. I am a male.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- At first I was a wanderer. A broken soldier after losing my brother GrayPhoenix. After wandering for an undetermined amount of time I caught the scent of my brother and it lead me to a band of humans. When I found them I went to battle and during the course of this battle the spirits lent me their power and I scorched the earth with the very release of it. It is a song of power that was written and titled "The Birth of a Shaman". I would be happy to sing or pen it for you upon request.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I smell exceptionally well. Unlike Deminthus who uses soap and bathes in water instead of blood I strengthen my musk any chance that I get. I am well spoken and I give thanks to the shade that follows me everywhere for this. I am generally calm unless thoughts of battle enter my head. I am very rarely cruel to my own kind unless it is absolutely merited. I love to smoke gnome herb and I go bonkers for elf ears.

- 14,536
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- I was originally a front lines combatant with axes but now I mend bones and close wounds. I am very skilled at aiding large groups rather than a single person.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I walked upon another plane of existence that the spirits referred to as "Cenarion Circle". Deminthus and I have braved the nether to join the fight here.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- The spirits warn me that it is faltering. That we will all soon be seeing a great time of strife. I heed their words. I see it as farce.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- That I will enjoy heavily RPing with the guild
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- The only thing that clashes is that I regularly purchase gnome herbs from an un-named gnome. I greatly enjoy these herbs and you will never see me without a bag hanging from my belt stuffed full of them. If this gnome were to die I would most definitely be out for blood regardless of the killer. Other than that we seem pretty aligned.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I'm no Gary Gygax but I definitely have been role playing for years. I started when I was very young (12 or so) playing M.U.D.s (multi user dungeons - text based role playing videogames). I've also played a lot of Pen and Paper role playing games (a la D&D, Hero Quest, White Wolf).
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- Yes, a lot. I've never played alliance other than to level 20 or so. Other than that, yes to all of the above. I started playing in 2005 soon after release.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- Server-transfer
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- To do a lot of role-playing PvP (hence the server choice). Hopefully get a little help with some high end raiding as well. I've yet to complete ICC!!! Raiding is not my primary goal though.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
- This is where things get a little tricky. Sometimes I have the ability to play like I want to (10am-2am with breaks). That is rare though. I have a daughter that is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. While I have her I will only play after she has gone to bed (after 8pm) and will stay on for random amounts of time depending on when my girlfriend arrives. Usually at least an hour or two but sometimes until 2am if she is playing with me or if she did not come. While I don't have my daughter it's usually 5pm-10pm. So it would be pretty safe to say a blanket statement of: 8pm to 10 or 12
