The mailing methods of The Postmaster were often shrouded in mystery, and occasionally, defied the laws of physics themselves. This was one of those times.
Inside of the mailbox, a simple, hastily wrapped package the size of an ogre's appetite awaited retrieval, bound with frayed rope and complete with a simple piece of parchment. Retrieving the package revealed a heavy weight and a shifting item within the box, the thing defying the very dimensions of the postal box as it made its way out. As is courteous, one would expect to read the parchment first.
It was only a few lines, written in a precise, if somewhat crude hand. It seemed to be drafted in some sort of dark, crimson ink, a few specs of it messily dotting the top and edges of the paper.
Your group sounds like my kind of people. I'm not sure what sort of things you need to know before you let someone in, but I thought I'd skip the polite talk and get straight to the good stuff.
I am a Shadow Hunter of some talent, as opening the box this note was attached to will demonstrate. Recent events have finally given me opportunity to start hunting some of the more... interesting game out there; the Alliance. Now, I could wax poetic about how I'm striving for peace, and just want to see the Horde thrive, but I got real simple needs, and I don't need to be flowery about it.
I live for the hunt, the thrill, the challenge, the danger. And you seem like you can lead me to more of that. You scratch my back, I'll stick a blade in a dwarf's gut for you.
Sound good? Good. Talk soon.

With that out of the way, all that was left was to open the package. Inside, a rather massive pair of bleached skulls lay within, each with an axe driven deep into the thick, protective white of each. They were humanoid, to a degree, but distorted, elongated, and far too large to belong to anything that could qualify as a human or orc. The pair of the skulls seemed to fit together almost like puzzle pieces, each molding to fit into the curves of the other, side by side.
An Ettin's skulls.
Really, some people were so thoughtful, weren't they?

Re: A Package and a Note
A very simple letter finds its way back.
((If 7pm server time (10pm EST) on this coming Monday the 20th works for you, I'll be there. War Mode on, but I'll invite to party anyway because War Mode phasing's been weird lately. We can also meet earlier if you like, or move it back to 10pm server (1am EST) the same night if preferred.))Interesting gift.
We can certainly lead you to a fight. You and I should speak, Shadow Hunter.
Monday night in Dazar'alor's Great Seal at the Royal Meat Rack. If not then, I'll track you down.
