- Gotama. I neither have, nor need any other names.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- Shu'halo. Of the larger and bulkier variety.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- Sunwalker. An'she chooses those who will walk in her light. The tale is too long to be told here.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I wouldn't.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
- I have had little time for the meddling Alliance since my...return. I'll be getting around to that later.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
- When I was young, I lived on anger. I thirsted for battle; the glory of combat and the pleasure of seeing my opponents dead at my feet. But war for its own sake leaves only wreckage. There is no glory in thoughtless carnage. The Earthmother showed me a new path. A way of enlightenment, that my rage might be tempered into a weapon for my people, and a shield for the Horde. I have no need for the vainglory of my youth. I live to destroy the enemies of the Horde, and secure peace and prosperity for all its peoples.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I lost myself, and was found.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
- Leaving our enemies alive and poised on our borders is a fool's decision. I am pleased to see the young Hellscream has more sense than his mentor.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- It means staying in-character as much as possible, and working to further the immersion of others through my behavior.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
- It's funny, but Fae was never really a very good character for the Grim. She had a very distinct leaning towards "righteous Paladin" that didn't work out in the long run. When I started writing Gotama a while back, I decided that I wanted someone who would be a better Lawful Evil character. That's the long winded version of saying, there's really no conflicts there.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- Moderate.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- I've played a lot of WoW for the past 5 years. My place of expertise probably lies in raiding. I've pretty much always been on Twisting Nether, and I've been through a few guilds over the years.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
- Nope. Though technically he used to be a level 29 warrior. He had both horns back then.
(OOC) Is this an alt of a current full Grim member? If so, what full member?
- This is Faeriel's alt (and probably new main)
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- With the Grim, I'm looking for a quality group of RPers who also know their way around a raid encounter. I'd say we've done pretty well with that over the past year.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Xondor.
- I play nights, usually after 8:30 or 9:00 PM server. After Cataclysm launches, I'll probably be playing this character a fair amount as I try to get him through Outland and Wrath ASAP.
