Eonys the Defender, Lady Eonys or simply 'The Defender'
(IC) What is your gender and race?
Female Blood Elf
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
I am the lightbringer. Before the capture of M'uru by his (former) lordship Kaelthas, I was a priestess of the light- its powers are limitless in protecting and aiding my allies while smiting and bringing down my foes. After Lady Liadrin witnessed my devotion to the light; she offered me the rank and training necessary to become a Blood Knight of Silvermoon. Avenging my fallen blood brothers and sisters through use of a paladin's arsenal was most appropriate.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
I am she who watches they; to quote the old warrior Saurfang. I believe in administering destruction and death to my enemies through protecting my allies. While this strikes most of the more hot-headed horde to find me 'soft' in my old age, this is merely a miscalculation. My allies serve as my sword, and I am their shield.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
1999
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
Avenging my brothers and sisters slain in the destruction of Quel'thas by the Scourge is my primary goal. I was sworn to the destruction of the scourge when I became a paladin; but as a Lady of the Horde and survivor of the Quel'thas siege, my grudge goes to the Alliance, our former allies who abandoned us in our time of need- the blood of our fallen is on their hands as well.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
Freelancing. As long as there is a sword, they will require a shield to stand behind- and I am that shield. Sparring against Lord Tirion's constructs and the resurrected Anub'arak with armies of all sizes, destroying the Lich King's armies at the base, Plagueworks and Blood Halls of Icecrown Citadel; and assisting allies any way I can.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
Thrall does what he must to preserve diplomacy. As a Lady Blood Knight of the Horde, my duty is first to the Light and Justice; secondly, to the destruction of the Scourge wherever they may stand, and finally to seek out and destroy the Alliance that allowed the slaughter at Quel'thas through their training of the human scum known as Arthas.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
Sounds like a blasty-blast. I've been in a few RP guilds, and a few non-RP guilds and have always found a higher caliber of player and person in the heavier RP guilds. It requires a deeper level of knowledge about the game's politics and individual motivation; opposed to a 'stab this till it dies' methodology that non-RP'ers hold.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
As mentioned earlier, my character is after the same goals. While your approach to the alliance is considered a bit hard-lined, I can see myself finding it agreeable.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
Gary Gygax level. I write extensively about whatever role-playing games I play; and even the non-RP games (FPSes, mostly) I justify character actions and personify enemies and allies alike. It's just how I play.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
I've been playing for what seems like forever, now. I participated in the open beta and have played ever since across multiple realms and even more guilds. I was primary healer and raid leader throughout Vanilla WoW in my 40-man guild as a priest; I was a raid healer in TBC as a priest, and I've moved on to making a paladin my main as of Ulduar in Wrath of the Lich King. I raided one-light 25-man Ulduar on my priest as healing leader and took a short hiatus while my guild went on to twiddle thumbs and farm Yogg for purples.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
Server transfer. Eonys has always been her name.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I'm searching for a friendly and equally raid-capable group of players. Since the release of Wrath of the Lich King, World of Warcraft has never been easier to play or master- the game is simple to handle and I require a raid group that is equally focused on min/maxing their characters and achieving boss deaths expediently.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.
I'm in the finance world, so my schedule consists of highly variable times. Usually during the 9 to 5 (EST) hours I can be found working, with WoW open to browse the AH or chat with friends. Very late in the evenings/early AM I do my dailies, and I'm on during whatever are specialized raid times. Otherwise, my schedule is very variable.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
Peace through Annihilation. An honorable death to all who oppose me.
