(IC) What name or title do you go by?
      -Khorshah.

(IC) What is your gender and race?
      -I am male, and Tauren.

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
-I am a Death Knight, though not by my own choice. Betrayal and misfortune set me on this path. In life, I was a Shaman.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
      -Cold. Driven. Unforgiving.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
-I have only two goals remaining in life: the annihilation of the Alliance and all it stands for, and the destruction of the Lich King Arthas. With that said, though, I am a soldier; the Grim can expect my loyalty to their Mandate and to their cause so long as they remain unwavering in their own goals.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-Once, I fought alongside soldiers of the Alliance under the banner of the Argent Dawn. Their human commander showed his true colors and abandoned me and my forces to die in the Plaguelands. Since breaking free of the Lich King's will, I have journeyed to find the lost pieces of my past and regain my mind. That journey is nearly done, and now I need allies.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-A mistake. Cooperation may have been possible before Varian Wrynn's return to claim his throne, but Stormwind's king hates the Horde and will betray us. Thrall may be Warchief, but that does not make him infallible; he needs worthy guardians to ensure his optimism doesn't destroy us all.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
-To me, it means remaining IC at all times. It's really not difficult to express game terms in character with just a little effort.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
-Khorshah is dedicated to the destruction of the Alliance, but has also had more than his fill of mindless butchery and isn't interested in murdering the weak or helpless. His characterization has been designed with the Grim's Mandate in mind (I did my research), and I don't see conflicts occurring.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I've been involved in tabletop and live-action roleplaying for 15 years, and have been an active online roleplayer for 11 years; I started online in MUXes and MUDs, and moved into MMO gaming with the launch of City of Heroes. I've been a roleplayer in WoW on and off.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-I've been a guild officer and raid leader for on Thorium Brotherhood for nearly three years; in vanilla WoW we were working on ZG, but with BC we grew and eventually tackled all of the pre-Sunwell content. In Wrath we've managed to raid our way through Sarth-2D, Malygos, Naxxramas, and early Ulduar. I took a break from raiding with Bloodforged in late BC, and raided with on Elune through SSC, TK, and the Black Temple until Patch 3.0 hit; I returned to Bloodforged after the expansion's launch.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-I'm looking for a guild where I can kick back and enjoy the RP, write some good stories, and get into an active and fun raiding environment. PvP is about the only aspect of WoW that I haven't invested heavy time in, and I'm looking for a new challenge in that forum as well.

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR send a PM to all (not just one) of the following members: Acherontia, Nymare, Tecunuman
-My schedule is fairly open lately, and I've been spending a lot of time online. I'm unavailable Monday and Thursday evenings, as well as most of the day on Saturday and most of the afternoon and evening on Sundays.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
-(OOC)Peace through Annihilation. I'm aware that I'm not yet 80 and won't be raiding right away even when I do hit the level cap, but I also know how to quickly gear up a character to become raid-ready, and I think this'll be a lot of fun.
Basic principle: Stay alive! When you die, your DPS is zero.
