Feorn stumbled into the Grim guildhall, obviously not sober. He was carrying a jingling sack filled with various spoils. He looked around the hall nervously and moved his sack behind his back. As he drank in the situation, his eyes settled on Filora.

"Hmph, some good that plate armor and fancy shield did ya, huh?", Feorn mumbled as he looked over the young paladin. He dropped his sack on the floor and reached into his armor for a flask. He took a swig, resealed it and tossed it at Filora's feet.

"You're lucky you've got some extra padding, heh. That might help with the pain.", Feorn picked up his sack and moved to go stash his hard earned loot.

"In the right you are, Filora," Khorvis affirmed. "We of the Grim can not allow errant mad crusaders to prey on our ranks like vultures on the sick. This wound will be burnt shut, and with haste!"

The orc paced back and forth, the gears in his transparent mind clicking and clacking almost audibly. He was getting too old for the sort of rash charge that may have carried a younger warrior to battle, and the seasoned veteran encased inside that armor knew that a provocation like this was a simple invitation into yet another ambush. Still, heated blood and a flask of distilled scorpid venom were working their cocktail of impulse upon his brain.

Growling at the passing comments of Feorn as the elf waltzed by, Khorvis barked at Lupinum and Lilliana: "See that this paladin is fully restored to fighting shape, brother and sister priests! Take her before the Commander for a full report. Stonespire's wisdom will guide our course. As for me," the warrior snarled and showed his tusks, "I have shadowblades to set on a fresh trail."

Khorvis marched out of the Great Hall towards the darkened corridors of Inquisition, his cloak flapping behind him.

Lupinum nodded towards Khorvis' large back before turning to Lilliana, "Help me get her up, huh? She needs some rest." He leaned down and slide the Elf's arm over his boney shoulders. The Troll lent a hand and together they carried the paladin towards her room.

The Forsaken had no idea how things would play out, the Commander was getting involved... Filora almost died... Something big was coming.
The constant, slow drip of blood left a sanguine trail behind the trio.

That was probably the nicest Feorn had ever been to her. Filora rolled her eyes, ignoring the flask, then looked back to Khorvis. She wasn't sure she liked being compared to a sick beast, but refrained from comment.

She was all too glad to be helped to a room where people would leave her alone for awhile – although it appeared a report to the Commander would be necessary. At the meeting tonight, then, she figured.

At the Grim meeting...

18:47:49 Drinn smiles quietly to herself without focusing on any one person.
18:47:52 Lilliana looks at you.
18:47:57 You look at Lilliana.
18:48:10 Leyujin tilts his head, then a light goes off and he smiles approvingly.
18:48:10 Awatu nods at Malhavik.
18:48:19 Lilliana shakes her head and steps over to the elf.
18:48:22 [Awatu]: Supplicant, you seek your Inquisitor?
18:48:31 Greebo scratches the back of his neck, feeling an itch.
18:48:54 [Anaie]: I found a spidah egg... I dunno what will 'appen wit it.
18:49:01 [Anaie]: I'm tinkin bout shakin it.
18:49:16 [Syreena]: Malhavik, you can talk to me later.
18:49:17 [Malhavik]: Yes, I am anxious to begin my trials. I have not been assigned one as of yet however.
18:49:24 [Malhavik]: Will do.
18:49:27 Awatu looks back at Anaie, for a moment, then turns back to the group.
18:49:31 Anaie shakes the egg.
18:49:32 Syreena nods at Malhavik.
18:50:13 Anaie mutters. "Not good..."
18:50:36 [Awatu]: Very well, is there anything else that anyone wishes to share?
18:50:41 [Filora]: I have something.
18:50:47 Awatu looks at you.
18:50:51 Awatu nods at you.
18:51:13 [Filora]: The Lasher, Dreadweaver Khorvis, seemed to think this should be brought to your attention, Commander.
18:51:17 Leyujin eyes Filora with curiosity.
18:51:22 Filora looks a little uncomfortable.
18:51:32 Syreena glances at her sister, then looks back to the elf.
18:51:33 Ulrezaj raises a brow.
18:51:34 Lilliana 's gaze flickers from Filora to Awatu intently.
18:51:36 Awatu furrows his brow. "Oh? And what might that be?"
18:51:46 Anaie whispers to her sister.
18:52:12 [Filora]: I was attacked and nearly killed by a member of Sanctuary, who called me a traitor and claimed she was owed a blood debt.
18:52:26 Greebo stiffens.
18:52:36 Syreena mutters, "So much for dancing in the rain with the flowers."
18:52:50 Malebrignon stops staring at the floor and gives Filora his full attention.
18:52:51 Greebo 's head whips around and he looks intently at Leyujin.
18:52:54 Lilliana shakes her head, looking like a solemn troll.
18:53:00 Awatu maintains a steady expression. "A bold claim. How certain are you of this?"
18:53:01 Anaie blinks at you.
18:53:01 Syreena eyes you up and down.
18:53:05 [Cobrak]: Pah! Knew they weren't nuthin' but a buncha turncoat Ally-lovers!
18:53:08 Syreena nods at Anaie.
18:53:14 Daxxum looks to Awatu for his response.
18:53:18 [Kalless]: I heard Sanctuary was a peaceful guild
18:53:28 Filora shifts her weight.
18:53:28 [Malebrignon]: A false front.
18:53:45 [Anaie]: We be peaceful. It be in our motto.
18:53:46 Lilliana shakes her head 'no' to Kalless. "They fight for Justice.....that doesn't mean 'peaceful'. " She corrects.
18:53:50 Syreena grins wickedly at Anaie.
18:53:53 Lilliana rolls her eyes at Anaie.
18:53:59 Awatu keeps his eyes on Filora, awaiting a response.
18:54:03 Leyujin says nothing, his face an impassive mask.
18:54:25 [Filora]: I'm completely certain. I knew her from when I was in Sanctuary's ranks. She left no doubt she wanted me dead... Ask Lilliana my condition when she and Lupinum found me.
18:54:34 [Greebo]: Give us a name girl!
18:54:34 Syreena checks something on a letter, then looks back up at Filora.
18:54:40 [Greebo]: Who.
18:54:45 Filora looks over at Greebo. "Saphiara."
18:54:49 Lilliana has her hands in her pockets.
18:54:55 [Canai]: How did you manage to survive the attack?
18:54:55 Malebrignon hisses loudly.
18:55:01 [Awatu]: I do not know this name.
18:55:15 Filora glances at Canai, but returns her attention to Awatu.
18:55:16 [Greebo]: The Malebrignon, it seems, has some faint memory.
18:55:18 [Cobrak]: Sounds like an elf.
18:55:26 Ulrezaj rubs a tusk thoughtfully, imagining what conditions lead to a sworn blood oath for Filora.
18:55:27 [Burra]: Why would they claim a blood debt?
18:55:47 Awatu glances at Leyu'jin and nods.
18:55:47 [Filora]: Prior to this, I was approached by their current guild leader... She seemed upset that I had come to the Grim.
18:55:55 [Akorharil]: Elves. Always with the dramatics.
18:55:55 Lilliana peers at you searchingly.
18:56:12 Anaie smirks slyly at Akorharil.
18:56:21 [Leyujin]: Did'joo know Saphiara well in Sanctuary, Filora?
18:56:25 Filora spreads her hands. "I've raised no hand to Sanctuary. They fell when I left, but it was because they were weak."
18:56:28 Drinn narrows her eyes and sets her jaw.
18:56:31 Anaie runs a thumb along her cleaver.
18:56:32 Lilliana looks to Leyu'jin when he speaks.
18:56:32 Filora looks at Leyu'jin. "Fairly."
18:56:54 [Awatu]: Is this Saphiara following orders?
18:57:14 [Filora]: She didn't specify that before attempting to blow me into several bloody chunks.
18:57:35 Leyujin murmurs, "Would be gud ta know wut a "Blood Debt" be in Sin'dorei terms..."
18:57:40 [Syreena]: Do they attack everyone who leaves their ranks?
18:57:49 Awatu twists his mouth into a grimace and grunts. He appears thoughtful.
18:58:05 [Cobrak]: Sounds a lot like them Scarlet humies way o' thinkin'...
18:58:06 [Filora]: The only other I know of is Malethia, also come to the Grim. I haven't heard from her in some time.
18:58:24 [Akorharil]: Oh? They must like us.
18:58:30 Cen watches the brazier dancing beside her, ears twitching to the story as she follows its flame.
18:58:33 [Anaie]: It be nuttin like da Scarlet's. Trust me.
18:58:38 [Syreena]: So if someone leaves Sanctuary to join The Grim, they're marked for death?
18:58:39 Syreena cackles maniacally at the situation.
18:58:45 [Greebo]: Turncoats, the lot of them. Kill on sight?
18:58:45 You shrug at Syreena. Who knows?
18:58:47 Anaie smirks slyly at Syreena.
18:58:58 Syreena cheers at Greebo!
18:59:04 [Leyujin]: Der not enuff infohmation ta determine dat, Syreena.
18:59:20 [Awatu]: No. We will not shed Horde blood if it can be helped.
18:59:30 Lilliana places her hands primly in her lap, and then looks down to them. Her ears listening, her eyes narrowed. "No, there isn't enough information, other than a Sandctuary member nearly killed Grim."
18:59:31 Anaie frowns.
18:59:33 [Ulrezaj]: De Grim shall be a polished blade. You can always trust our motives be true, and not dose idle peacelovehs. Hatred and betrayal is only natural from de liars.
18:59:34 Filora looks at Awatu to see if he has any more questions, or if she can step back.
18:59:35 Syreena frowns.
18:59:37 [Greebo]: It seems it cannot, sir. Our blood has already been shed.
18:59:58 [Cobrak]: Aye! Eye fer an eye, I says!
19:00:04 [Greebo]: Question? Answered.
19:00:17 [Syreena]: And an ear for an ear!
19:00:19 Anaie whispers to her sister
19:00:20 [Awatu]: If Sanctuary has truly marked us for death, then we will break them as a old tree in a strong wind.
19:00:24 [Greebo]: We all remember them when first we stepped into Orchome.
19:00:26 Canai smirks slyly at Syreena.
19:00:40 Lilliana looks over to Cobrak. "An eye for an eye?" Then to Syreena..."an ear for an ear?" She kind of laughs, if albeit darkly. It's hard to tell if she agrees.
19:00:57 Syreena grins wickedly at Anaie.
19:01:03 Kalless peers at Greebo searchingly.
19:01:03 [Awatu]: If they have rogue members, then they will be broken.
19:01:22 Anaie raises her hand.
19:01:24 [Ulrezaj]: We hafta keep an eye on de wretched kin. If dey premeditate murder for our just actions against those who do not belong, den we must affirm de whole association o' Sanctuary has betrayed us.
19:01:25 [Anaie]: Boss.
19:01:26 Lilliana looks at Leyujin.
19:01:37 Greebo looks back, expressionless.
19:01:45 Awatu looks back to Anaie.
19:01:46 [Anaie]: You said no blood ta be spilt aye?
19:02:11 [Awatu]: Unless you find the one who attacked, then no, not at this moment.
19:02:14 Greebo gets where Anaie is going and thinks of the many, many ways to kill without shedding a drop.
19:02:17 Filora doesn't have much of an expression, other than obviously disliking not having been given leave to step back.
19:02:21 Daxxum opens his hand, showing a glowing flame, "Don't make em bleed, burn them alive."
19:02:23 Drinn snorts.
19:02:24 [Anaie]: I developed dis technique... it involves maces, and blows to da stomach area. Dey don't bleed, well sometimes dey spit it up, but dat is dere own fault.
19:02:32 [Anaie]: Kin I do dat??
19:02:36 [Cen]: Eye for an eye? Yet still, for now, the elf keeps her eyes, as Syreena her snowballs. We should tread careful else the snowball roll and grow beyond decision.
19:02:39 Syreena pokes Anaie. Hey!
19:02:43 Cen nods to Syreena.
19:02:44 Leyujin snarls involuntarily.
19:02:54 You look at Leyujin.
19:02:55 Lilliana then nudges Leyu'jin.
19:02:56 Syreena looks at Cen with a confused look.
19:03:05 [Cobrak]: I know quite a few Hollow poisons that'll cause their guts ta turn ta slush! That ain't bleedin' right?
19:03:10 Filora backs up quietly.
19:03:12 Awatu grins slightly. "Hold your techniques until we know for certain what Sanctuary seeks."
19:03:21 Anaie frowns.
19:03:25 [Greebo]: A blow for a blow then, and be damned to the godswhoabandonedus if there is no healer ready with a salve.
19:03:28 [Cen]: You throw with such aim Syreena. When in certain sights your target.
19:03:30 Leyujin looks back at Lilliana, then turns quickly back to Awatu.
19:03:31 Greebo points at you.
19:03:33 Anaie kicks a pebble across the floor, saddened.
19:03:38 You blink at Greebo.
19:03:42 [Greebo]: What was the count of strikes.
19:03:46 [Syreena]: A meeting with Sanctuary leaders then?
19:03:47 [Ulrezaj]: No, not an eye fo' an eye, any premeditated actions must be met wit' five times de cost. If a man's ox is stolen and slaughtered, with what shall he work? Five times de cost is what just payment shall be.
19:03:50 [Malhavik]: A diplomat to speak with them could shed some light on this situation.
19:03:55 Malebrignon fades into the shadows.
19:04:03 [Ulrezaj]: If it be one infidel, den we must make an effort to repay an eye fo' an eye only then.
19:04:06 Filora blinks at Greebo again.
19:04:18 Syreena whispers to Anaie.
19:04:25 Anaie nods at Syreena.
19:04:26 Cen looks to Syreena.
19:04:27 Anaie grins wickedly at Syreena.
19:04:31 [Awatu]: Yes, we will speak with their leaders.
19:04:39 [Leyujin]: Ulrezaj, joo fool, wut if dis be orchestrated ta begin internecine conflict? We canna be led inta a trap so easy-like.
19:04:45 Anaie starts to raise her hand again...
19:04:52 Cen shifts her glance to Awatu.
19:05:02 Drinn shakes her head, "No Horde blood to be spilled.. but what of Grim blood as it already has been? If Sanctuary seeks to cut off one of our fingers..." She lifts her chin in Filora's direction, ".. then I say we respond and hack off one of their limbs."
19:05:07 [Ulrezaj]: You are right. We must wait fo' actual criminality to punish a crime.
19:05:13 Anaie nods and grins wickedly to her sister... looking up to no good.
19:05:14 Syreena cheers at Drinn!
19:05:18 [Awatu]: It is never so simple.
19:05:24 You look at Drinn.
19:05:27 Ulrezaj looks at Awatu.
19:05:36 Lilliana has gone back to looking at her hands as everyone speaks. She does look up each time Awatu says something, however.
19:05:43 [Greebo]: And what then of the arrows and explosives? Is this not a crime that cries out for supposed ahhhh Justice?
19:05:46 Syreena nods to her sister with a grin.
19:05:47 [Cobrak]: But this Saph-iola or whoeva should be dealt the crime no matter what them Sancts had ta do wif it!
19:05:47 Leyujin mutters under his breath, "Why be we mo' eagah ta spill Horde blood den Alliance..."
19:05:50 [Anaie]: Boss...
19:05:58 Cen stands. "The Cen will go. ... If they fell me, not such a loss, but a suplicant."
19:06:07 Syreena stares Leyujin down.
19:06:11 [Syreena]: Because they attacked us.
19:06:12 Filora looks at Cen with incredibly apparent dubiousness.
19:06:16 [Greebo]: Leyujin. Sanctuary would call themselves Alliance if the twisted ones would let them.
19:06:25 [Anaie]: Me an Syreena kin set up a meetin wit dem Sanctuary... an we promise *stifles a minor giggle* dat some people like Drinn won't find out 'bout its location.
19:06:32 Greebo glances over at the priestess.
19:06:33 Drinn snaps her attention to Leyu'jin, "No." She shakes her head. "I am eager to spill the blood of those who are enemies."
19:06:34 [Cen]: I will talk with them, but more. I will hear.
19:06:46 [Anaie]: It defin'tly won't be a bloody ambush.
19:06:55 Anaie places a hand over where her heart should be.
19:07:01 [Ulrezaj]: Ironically, de Alliance gives us less motivation to fight, but Sanctuary belong here wit' us fo' de maintenance o' Horde matter.
19:07:04 Cen nods to Greebo.
19:07:06 Awatu nods at Cobrak. "Yes. If any of you encounter this elf in your travels, deliver her head to the halls of The Grim."
19:07:15 Greebo knows that Anaie has it safely stored in a jar.
19:07:24 Syreena grins wickedly at Awatu.
19:07:25 [Cobrak]: Ya should keep some Grim in reserve though...never know if they'll turn on ya at this meetin'.
19:07:26 Ulrezaj grits his teeth uncomfortably.
19:07:47 Lilliana rolls her eyes. "It's fine to kill the elf, but speaking to Sanctuary needs to be carefully done." She pipes up. "Awatu knows that."
19:08:07 [Filora]: I think Lilliana is already friends with their guild leader, aren't you, Lilliana?
19:08:08 Malhavik nods at Lilliana.
19:08:17 Anaie still holds her hand up for a few more moments, then slowly lowers it... pouting slightly as her suggestion seems to fall on deaf ears.
19:08:22 Anaie mutters.
19:08:27 [Awatu]: Correct. If this is not orchestrated by their leadership, then we have no reason to bring them to justice.
19:08:29 [Anaie]: I taught it was a brilliant plan.
19:08:37 Ulrezaj agrees with Awatu.
19:08:53 [Lilliana]: No, she hates my guts. I'm friends with her second in command, Kargron. *she nods her head* But Julilee puts up with me. I've saved her ass a few times. *she looks carefully at Filora*
19:09:14 [Burra]: If they have a viper in their ranks, it's up to them to remove it. We just need to make them aware of it.
19:09:20 [Awatu]: But one of ours was harmed, so we will deal the justice out accordingly to the individual.
19:09:23 [Akorharil]: Hates you? Hard to imagine...
19:09:34 [Malhavik]: .laugh
19:09:36 [Ulrezaj]: Sanctuary has every right to be here wit' de full Horde, but not treachery so great as de Alliance.
19:09:40 Syreena grins wickedly.
19:09:42 [Leyujin]: Might be bettah fo' Lilliana ta probe Kargron.
19:09:50 [Syreena]: I'll bring you here head, Commander.
19:09:53 [Syreena]: Minus the ears, of course.
19:09:57 Syreena licks her lips.
19:10:02 [Leyujin]: A diplomatic... scoutin' partay, as joo migh' say.
19:10:10 Awatu nods. "Consider her ears already yours."
19:10:11 Anaie speaks softly to her sister, "I kin invite dem into our Highmaul assault, an fergit to assign dem medics..."
19:10:21 Syreena grins wickedly at Anaie.
19:10:31 [Leyujin]: Den, sumting between da leadahs kin be arranged. But ah worry aboot any arrangement bein' a trap.
19:11:00 [Cobrak]: That's what I'm sayin' meet wif yer normal numbers, but keep a wing o'Grim a short distance away.
19:11:10 [Canai]: We can have help waiting in the shadows.
19:11:10 Lilliana nods her head. "I do trust Kargron."
19:11:16 [Syreena]: Sneaky types. We're good at spying on people.
19:11:22 Leyujin nods at Cobrak and Canai.
19:11:23 [Syreena]: Then we can jump in if things get bloody.
19:11:25 Greebo tells Lilliana NO. Not going to happen.
19:11:41 [Cobrak]: I volunteer! Specially fer the bloody part.
19:11:43 Awatu looks up. "Agreed. A small detachment, just in the event of an emergency."
19:11:45 Cobrak laughs.
19:12:19 [Awatu]: I doubt it will come to that. Sanctuary has been quiet for many years. And now, after so long, they begin to rebuild and assault one of us?
19:12:34 Lilliana eyes Greebo for a moment. "I trust who I choose." She says flatly.
19:12:48 [Cobrak]: Part of nature, take down the bigger predator and became the alpha.
19:13:03 Anaie cackles at the thought.
19:13:23 [Awatu]: But in so doing, then harm themselves and The Horde. Those are the two things they claim to protect.
19:13:40 Anaie wipes a bloody tear from under her blindfold, stifling a giggle. "Sanctuary becomin alpha predatahs..."
19:14:08 Leyujin eyes Cobrak, then snorts. "Bad timin' den. We ain't got time fo' distractions."
19:14:11 Syreena giggles at Anaie.
19:14:33 Lilliana nods at Awatu.
19:14:48 Awatu nods.
19:14:52 Malhavik 's yellow eyes fade as a bit of drool leaks from his rotted jaw. His mind has withdrawn from this reality for a short time.
19:15:13 Akorharil scoots a bit to the right
19:15:21 [Awatu]: Very well. As has been said, if any of you encounter this elf in your travels, you know what to do.
19:15:30 [Syreena]: Kill it!
19:15:33 [Awatu]: Yes. That.
19:15:37 [Syreena]: And give me her ears.
19:15:38 Syreena grins wickedly.
19:15:38 Alakhai peers at the odd guy next to her, then passed him to Akorharil questioningly.
19:15:42 Leyujin rolls on the floor laughing at Syreena.
19:15:45 [Cobrak]: Hey Fil, ya want her head? Mebbe a few innards to cook?
19:15:58 [Filora]: I just don't want her to attack me again.
19:16:15 Lilliana closes her eyes.
19:16:18 [Syreena]: If you see her, or even think you see her, you say so on the stone and let all the Grims know.
19:16:23 Syreena nods at you.
19:16:28 [Anaie]: Boss...
19:16:32 Anaie raises her hand again
19:16:34 You nod at Syreena.
19:16:35 Lilliana nods her head just faintly, to Syreena.
19:16:36 [Cobrak]: C'mon, ya don't want a trophy? An arm, a finger t'least?
19:16:46 [Awatu]: The leadership of Sanctuary will be notified and we will meet to discuss this matter. If they all seek our blood, then we will paint the walls of their guild hall with their own blood.
19:16:48 Lilliana opens up one eye, one eye only, and looks at Leyu'jin.
19:17:00 Cen repositions to the fresh chill of air blowing through the door.
19:17:02 Lilliana then opens both eyes and stares at Awatu.
19:17:03 Drinn mutters under her breath, "Soup bowl made out of part of her skull.."
19:17:10 [Greebo]: Smack him, Anaie.
19:17:15 [Anaie]: All elves kinda look da same to me... what be da leeway we get fer accidentals?
19:17:18 Syreena whispers at her sister, "Try jumping up and down in front of him. He likes that."
19:17:25 Malhavik blinks.
19:17:29 Awatu turns to Anaie.
19:17:31 Syreena cackles maniacally at Anaie.
19:17:34 Greebo sees the wisdom in Anaie's question.
19:17:38 [Anaie]: Also, my eyes ain't so good.
19:17:45 Leyujin covers his face with his palm.
19:17:52 [Awatu]: Just... do your best.
19:17:53 [Alakhai]: Even the ones you hide away?
19:17:53 Anaie pats her belt pouch
19:18:07 [Anaie]: yes yes... i know
19:18:12 [Anaie]: okay. some of me eyes are good
19:18:16 Syreena grins at her sister and mutters something about treasure hunting.
19:18:16 [Anaie]: or claim ta be
19:18:21 [Akorharil]: No one ever gets gored at these meetings...
19:18:26 [Awatu]: If this is a simple rogue member, then we will not treat them as enemies. Understood?
19:19:02 Anaie starts to raise her hand again.
19:19:20 [Anaie]: nevahmind... if I don't tell you den I got plausable deniability.
19:19:26 Anaie nods.
19:19:36 Drinn nods at Anaie.
19:19:38 [Anaie]: I may 'ave to write it down though...
19:19:40 Awatu rolls his eyes and sighs.
19:19:42 [Anaie]: sometimes I fergit.
19:19:49 [Anaie]: So definitely. Do Not.
19:19:53 [Anaie]: Read me papahs.
19:19:58 Anaie shakes a finger at Awatu.
19:20:09 Syreena sighs at Anaie.
19:20:18 [Syreena]: You know, Sis, for a rogue, sometimes you aren't all that sneaky!
19:20:32 Awatu glares at the finger, for a moment, then back to the group.
19:20:35 [Anaie]: I use meat cleavahs...
19:20:46 [Anaie]: dere ain't no grace 'ere
19:20:51 [Anaie]: well 'cept fer dat one
19:20:57 [Anaie]: what's 'is face...
19:20:58 [Syreena]: But he's not here.
19:21:03 [Anaie]: da one we ain't seen 'is face
19:21:09 [Anaie]: Aye dat one.
19:21:22 Greebo glances over his shoulder.
19:21:53 [Awatu]: At any rate.
19:22:13 Wrooth looks thoughtful "Sanctuary.. their banner is purple?"
19:22:16 [Awatu]: Is there any other business that should be brought to our attention?
19:22:30 Burra thinks the meeting has gotten a little out of hand...
19:22:32 Lilliana says quietly "It's purple."
19:22:38 Greebo mutters something about elves and furniture and the standing there-on.
19:22:53 Wrooth thanks Lilliana.
19:23:05 [Kalless]: Inquisitor, I have a question about my trial of sacrifice
19:23:22 Awatu looks at Kalless.
19:23:22 [Syreena]: Now? Or after the meeting?
19:23:42 [Kalless]: Perhaps after
19:23:46 Syreena nods at Kalless.
19:23:59 [Anaie]: Oh I kin place a Blingtron outside yer north gates fer everyone.
19:24:05 [Anaie]: I promise dis one will not explode.
19:24:10 Kalless stands at attention and salutes.
19:24:14 Awatu nods.
19:24:16 [Anaie]: well... it shouldn't.
19:24:19 Leyujin grins wickedly at Kalless.
19:24:27 [Awatu]: That is all for the meeting, then. You are dismissed.
19:24:38 Daxxum salutes Awatu with respect.
19:24:41 Leyujin salutes Awatu with respect.
19:24:44 Canai waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
19:25:00 Greebo salutes Awatu with respect.
19:25:00 Awatu nods at Leyujin.
19:25:13 Cen watches the people shuffle out.
19:25:26 [Leyujin]: Commandah. Ah wuz recallin' dat Julilee, from our short encountah, seemed like a real military mind.
19:25:35 Lilliana looks at Leyujin.
19:25:41 Awatu nods.
19:25:50 [Leyujin]: Dose Sanctuary folks ain't bin run ba a real career soldjah up until now.
19:26:09 Lilliana tilts her head, watching and listening of course.
19:26:29 [Leyujin]: Might be she's decided we be da problem, an' it be easiah ta end us den da Alliance.
19:26:55 Lilliana blinks in surprise at Leyu'jin, but that's it. She then looks thoughtful.
19:26:58 [Leyujin]: If so, dis would represent a ideology change wit'in Sanctuary.
19:27:02 [Awatu]: Entirely possible.
19:27:18 Leyujin nods at Awatu.
19:27:23 [Ulrezaj]: Does not make sense. Alliance and Horde neutral zones always result in conflict. Alliance are stiff-necked and exceedingly holier than thou.
19:27:27 Drinn pads away from the group looking more displeased then usual.
19:27:33 You look at Drinn.
19:28:07 [Leyujin]: From der leadahs standpoint, per'aps we Grim stand in da way o' a peace agreement.
19:28:14 Kalless kneels before Ber.
19:28:18 Leyujin snorts derisively. Shows what HE thinks of that idea.
19:28:18 Lilliana puts her hands back into her pockets. She looks back over to Filora while Leyujin speaks.
19:28:27 Awatu grins. "We do."
19:28:32 Filora is dawdling to listen in.
19:28:41 Kalless hands a delicately crafted doggy treat to Ber
19:28:45 Syreena peers at Leyujin searchingly.
19:28:51 [Awatu]: This does not have the markings of a coordinated strike.
19:29:02 Syreena watches Ber snatch the treat with great enthusiasm, wagging his tail hard.
19:29:09 [Leyujin]: Mmm.
19:29:10 [Awatu]: But it could be an attempt to throw us off balance.
19:29:18 Leyujin looks to be pondering that.
19:29:27 [Leyujin]: It 'as succeeded at dat.
19:29:35 Leyujin smiles slowly.
19:29:51 [Awatu]: They lack the might that we possess, so if they wished to see us destroyed then they must be very careful with their plans.
19:30:08 [Ulrezaj]: Dey also need inside agents to keep track o' our movements.
19:30:33 [Awatu]: Also true. An advantage that they have over us.
19:31:05 Cen raises a hand.
19:31:11 [Syreena]: So maybe we should kill them all, just to be sure. Peace through annihilation, and all that?
19:31:12 Ulrezaj looks to Cen.
19:31:14 Kalless glances at Cen
19:31:29 Lilliana offers Syreena a dark look, then winks with a shake of her head.
19:31:31 Leyujin looks over his shoulder, and sees the two elves in the doorway.
19:31:38 Lilliana looks at Cen.
19:31:38 Syreena shrugs at Lilliana. Who knows?
19:31:47 Awatu sighs. "This is different."
19:31:53 [Cen]: Perhaps to know their logic, illogical is it may be, would lend ... purpose.
19:31:59 Lilliana nods at Cen.
19:32:00 [Awatu]: The enemy is not clear before us.
19:32:10 [Cen]: To find peace in meaning, or conviction in forcing peace.
19:32:17 You look at Cen.
19:32:19 Leyujin looks respectfully at Awatu and nods with conviction.
19:32:25 [Syreena]: Fine, fine, I'll just go elf hunting for now.
19:32:39 Syreena bows before Awatu.
19:32:40 Ulrezaj rubs a tusk.
19:32:41 [Awatu]: Once we know what we are dealing with, then we can proceed with an attack on whomever seeks our end. Which I am sure is quite a long list...
19:32:45 [Cen]: They may think themselves acting just.
19:33:22 [Ulrezaj]: Ahh, yes, dis be what sending someone to speak be fo'. We kin learn o' der err.
19:33:32 Lilliana nods at Ulrezaj.
19:33:48 Leyujin catches Filora's eye, and remembers something. "Filora! Wut be a Blood Debt?"
19:33:54 You blink at Leyujin.
19:34:00 Awatu looks at you.
19:34:02 [Filora]: Uh... I have no idea.
19:34:21 [Leyujin]: It ain't sumting joo Sin'dorei practice?
19:34:27 Filora shakes her head.
19:34:42 Leyujin scowls, then nods. "Tanks."
19:35:07 Cen eyes you up and down.
19:36:06 Filora looks around, and moves to leave.

18:41:20 [Lilliana-TwistingNether]: I don't know how to play the game, just rp.
21:31:21 [Ulrezaj-TwistingNether]: What are we without the bw?

As you stroll by Anaie's war room dozens of scraps of paper are strew about the floor and a few upon the desk, with some even out the doorway into the hallways of the Guild. A cleared area on the desk is home to a single page of parchment, with two vials next to it, one red and one black.

Ignoring the papers strewn about the halls in this small corner of the guild halls, Awatu stormed down the corridors towards the master's office. He never liked sitting inside, but time was short and he needed to write a letter quickly. Once inside the office, he sat down at the two-sizes-too-small desk and began writing a missive bound for the current leader of Sanctuary. It took a moment to recall the name of their leader, and even then he could only remember her given name. He shrugged, making a mental note to gather more information about her. The two of them had only met once before, shortly after arriving on Draenor, when a spark of tension had arisen between some of their members. Lilliana was present before his own arrival. In fact, Lilliana has been present for much of this. His brow furrowed as he thought on this. He will keep a closer eye on her. She has always been a wily one.

Satisfied with the letter, he folded it, tucked it into a large envelope, and sealed it with wax. He considered the idea of adding a protective enchantment to the letter, but decided against it should it be detected and suspected of being a trap. No, simple and straightforward will be the method of delivery, but only in the hands of someone he could trust. A call through the hearthstone and a few minutes later, a stout, young Pandaren woman knocked in the door frame of the office.

"Deliver this missive to the headquarters of Sanctuary. Go under the unassuming guise of a letter-carrier or free-lancer. Do not draw attention to yourself. Once it is delivered, you will receive more orders."

Curious as the nature of this delivery mission, she simply nodded and half-saluted, leaving for her own belongings to dress in appropriate attire. After she had left, Awatu sighed and rubbed his snout in exasperation. Emotions were boiling over within The Grim and he hoped that Sanctuary was not the true culprits behind the attempted assassination. The last thing that he needed was an internal conflict so soon after Hellscream's turmoil.

The letter was delivered silently and unceremoniously to its intended recipient.
Commander Julilee of Sanctuary,

It has been brought to my attention that an individual, a Sin'dorei Ranger by the name of Saphiara, has attempted to assassinate a member of The Grim. This member, a Blood Knight named Filora, is certain of the identity of her attacker. The attack was nearly successful, but due to Filora's own resilience and quick treatments from fortunately-nearby medics she has made a recovery. Filora has some history with Sanctuary and claims that her attacker named her a "traitor" as a motive for murder. This motive holds deeper concerns between the leadership of The Grim and the leadership of Sanctuary.

As we understand it, Saphiara still walks underneath the banner of Sanctuary, and so I bring this to your attention so that you may shed some light on this matter. If this is a deliberate act of aggression from your organization, then The Grim will respond accordingly and indiscriminately. If it is not, then we must meet and discuss the ramifications of this instigation of conflict with a settlement of appropriate justice towards those seeking to initiate this aggression. We do not need another internal conflict within The Horde, and I trust you feel the same way. I do not believe this attack was orchestrated by Sanctuary leadership and, as such, the organization has not been labeled as an enemy of The Grim at this time.

As of this writing, Saphiara is labeled as an enemy of The Grim. Once sufficient information on her current appearance, aliases, and known movements have been acquired we will begin an official scouting party for her head. Efforts to protect her will be seen as a sign of support for her actions. If credible evidence can be provided that proves her innocence, then The Grim will halt any attempts at apprehending Saphiara. False evidence or an attempt to stall the efforts of The Grim will be seen as a sign of protection or support for Saphiara. I trust that you understand.

Respectfully,
Awatu Stonespire, Commander of The Grim.

Lilliana left the Grim's Garrison after the fierce guild meeting to stand outside the main gates, snow falling into her red hair. The wind picked up, and she stepped forward to one of the lower braziers which burned brightly. She stood close to it and glanced back to where some of her fellow Grims, including Leyu'jin and Awatu, still gathered. She had remained quiet for much of the meeting once Filora's ordeal was brought up. Her voice would have been smothered by Grims yelling for swift death and revenge left and right if she had said more than she had anyway. It didn't matter, Awatu was clear on the steps he wished the Grim to take against this, and she approved.

She held her attunement stone in one hand within her pocket, and ran her thumb across it's rough surface. She had been tasked of speaking with Kargron, Sanctuary's second in command, and her friend. She and the Orc Deathknight had not always seen eye to eye on the way that Sanctuary and the Grim ran their business, but the two had always been able to come to some understanding, at least in the way of friendship and with a similar bond that they both held. Lilliana was sure that if she could speak to him prior to engaging with the Sanctuary leader, Julilee, that the ordeal with Filora and Saph could be sorted. And that the worst case scenario, a guild war, could easily be avoided.

“Hey, Kargron, you there?” She spoke silently, without words. This was the magic of the attunement stones. And she spoke to Kargron's mind alone.

Silence.

“Seriously Kargron, I don't give a shit if you are meditating, answer me. It's important.” She tried again, pushing harder this time.

She was greeted with nothing but silence. Not even an acknowledged ignore. Just.....silence. As if she had been completely cut off, their attunement link severed.

Kargron always knew when she was frantic or in trouble. Once, when she had just about had it at a Grim guild meeting, with everyone being so wretchedly 'grim', he had sailed down on his dragon in the midst of 20 or so Grim and scooped her up and took her away. Why would he greet her with this heavy silence when she was sure he could feel her slight panic. Of course she didn't show it on the outside. But Lilliana knew that this attack on the Grim could have grave consequences. She needed to speak with Kargron before any of the Grim did anything else in retribution.

“Kargron, you damned butthead. If you ignore me, I'm coming to you. Oh yes I am.”

Lilliana canted her head, listening both with her mind and with her ears, but still – there was nothing.

“Well that does it.” She said to herself, and shoved the stone deep into her pocket. Leaving the safety of the Grim's Garrison's walls and the toasty brazier she had stood beside, she road out on her war wolf. Her destination was the Sanctuary Garrison.

*************************************************************************************************************************************

The snowfall had picked up along with the wind, as was often the case in Frostridge. Lilliana found herself quite cold once again. She ignored it, as was her usual response to things that bothered her. When she saw the high stone and wooden walls of the Garrison she approached, she sighed in relief. At least she could spend some time at the Sanctuary Tavern, and wait for Kargron. She'd find out why his attunement stone wasn't working.

She almost appeared casual as she trotted up the snowy hill that would lead her through the front gates of Sanctuary.

“No, Lilliana!” A brutish orc voice broke Lilliana from her train of thought, and put himself in front of her before she trotted straight into the Garrison.

Lilliana looked down at the Frostwall Grunt. “Hi Religar.” She prided herself of greeting those she knew by name. “What's up?” She kicked her warwolf to make him move around the grunt.

“I said no, Lilliana.” Religar folded his strong arms and glared, but with a hint of apology, at the priestess. “No Grims allowed. Orders from the top.”

Lilliana pulled her wolf back, and trotted back and forth, her face one of shock. The other Frostwall Grunt, an even larger one named Soktan, was nodding at her. “It's true.” He said. “No Grims, And you're a Grim.”

The priestess threw back her head and giggled, “Yeah, I'm a Grim, but I'm not just a Grim. I'm a friend of Sanctuary! I need to speak to Kargron guys. Can you like move aside?” She tried to move forward again.

The two orcs looked at one another, and then back at Lilliana. “No,” They said in unison and barred her way. Sokton grabbed her warwolf's harness. Since the beast knew both of the Frostwall Grunts, he didn't snap or put up a fuss. Lilliana, however, did.

“What do you think you're doing? Soktan! Religar! Seriously! You are going to let me come in! It's cold, I want in!”

Soktan began to lead Lilliana and her warwolf away from the Garrison. Soktan spoke to her apologetically, “We like having you here, Lilliana, but seriously, orders are orders. Don't make us get rough with you.”

Lilliana nearly guffawed at that. But she nodded her head and trotted off without another word. At least, until she saw Lupinum watching her from off the trail.

“Lupinum!” She shouted and rushed her warwolf towards him. The wolf pranced in the snow, and then even seemed to dance around the undead priest.

Lupinum grinned at Lilliana. “Trouble up there?” Apparently he had followed her from the Grim's Garrison.

Lilliana got straight to the point. She hadn't left Soktan and Religar so easily because she had given up. “You are just the person I need. Will you help me?”

The response from the undead priest was a simple nod and a wicked grin. Lilliana would expect nothing less from him.

Together the two priests road back up the snow covered road to the Sanctuary Garrison. Both of the Frostwall Grunts looked very confused upon seeing not one, but two Grims coming up their road. But those expressions did not last for long. Soon their faces were filled with smiles and welcoming words, as Lilliana mind controlled Religar, and Lupinum took over Soktan's mind. It wasn’t' a very hard task, controlling the minds of these two. Still, Lilliana could not have managed controlling the two of them at once, and Lupinum appearance made this 'intrusion' possible.

“Sorry about earlier, Lilliana.” Religiar proclaimed to the priestess, and rubbed her warwolf on the neck. “Soktan and I can escort you into the tavern, and you can wait there out of the cold. I wouldn't worry any about the Grim not being allowed in the Garrison crap, I'm sure that's all a misunderstanding.”

Lilliana ignored the look she got from Lupinum when the orc said that, and instead she offered a devilish look with Lupinum. The other priest seemed uncertain for a moment, but that didn't last long and he gave her a devilish look right back.

With the snow blowing strongly at their backs, the four of them entered Sanctuary's grounds. Religar and Soktan momentary abandoned their posts to escort the two esteemed mind controlling Grims to the Sanctuary Tavern. Lilliana and Lupinum hitched their mounts outside the tavern, and one of the peons ran to get some meat for both of the beasts to munch on. One of the peons, although his expression was one of pure shock to see Lilliana, even waved and blew a kiss at her, shouting, “No snowballs!” while he ran off.

Religar and Soktan returned to their posts, slapping each-other on the back for a job well done.

Lilliana looked at Lupinum. They went into Sanctuary's tavern like they owned the place.

Wrooth frowned intently at the notes scattered across her desk. Sanctuary? She knew the name was familiar, and the troll Lilliana had confirmed that it was indeed a guild with a purple banner.

She could vaguely recall fighting along side other Horde with such tabards, but none that she knew personally, and Wrooth had far more important calculations spinning in her head at any given moment to pay much attention to unimportant things like names of strangers she may never meet again. Easier to just categorize and store non-close encounters as friendly, neutral, or enemy.

She tried to push the troublesome itch out of her mind, but despite staring at arcane algorithms for nearly an hour, something about this guild continued to fester and nag and pitch a tantrum in her subconscious.

With a growl, she shoved her chair back and marched out into the cold air of Frostfire Ridge. The smell of snow, or perhaps more accurately, the instant stripping of all other smells made her smile and she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. It reminds her of a childhood she could barely recall. She found the cold comforting, a strange opposition to the hated oppressive heat of Orgrimmar.

An image of her brother danced across her thoughts, and she chuckled to herself. He was, in many ways, the reason she had joined the Grim. He had been kicked out within days of her joining, completely unrelated to anything she had any control over. Perhaps a different person would have taken that personally and left with her brother, but after watching him chase one profession after another, she knew it wasn't in his nature to ever focus on one thing long enough to succeed.

She wasn't sure if he was still pursuing the monk thing or not. "Orc monks", she snorts. His last letter had mentioned talking a blacksmith into taking him on as an apprentice. He'd probably...

Wrooth opened her eyes, the offending thorn in her thoughts found.

Rushing back to her desk, she opened one of the drawers and sorted through the papers there till she found the last note from her brother.
Throm-ka Wru'!

How's the Grim treating you?! I've been hearing rumors about the guild's exploits in Draenor around town. Have you been on any of the Highmaul assaults?

I've been keeping busy lately (I know you are rolling your eyes right now, stop that!). I've been training with a blacksmith. I never realized how much smithing and engineering had in common. My teacher has been impressed with my skill gains (really, keep the eyes in your skull, Sister).

Anyway, as soon as I'm done learning as much as I can and get my certificate of accomplishment, I plan on paying back my training bill by hiring myself out to another guild. I've been eyeing this one guild called Sanctuary. I remember them from our days in the orphanage. Do you remember how you clung to that lady who took you out during the first Orphan's week? Nothing like that last ugly undead who stole you away. I still think you got your obsession with the color purple from that Sanctuary person.

Let me know how you are doing!

Your errant brother,

Dru'

Sanctuary.

Syreena had always thought of them as someone to be tolerated, but not exceptionally useful, and certainly not a threat, to anyone. She joked about them loving everyone, and dancing in the rain with flowers and rainbows. She had little respect for their policies and goals, at least, as she understood them. They wanted to coexist in harmony with the Alliance, much like Thrall had wanted. Their time was past. Until someone revived it recently, she thought Sanctuary actually was only part of the past.

Now she had learned that a Sanctuary member, Saphiara, had attacked and nearly killed a Grim. At first she was just shocked. She thought of Sanctuary people like lambs or kittens; they wouldn’t attack anyone. Then she was outraged. How dare someone attack a Grim! That it was from the likes of Sanctuary made it doubly insulting.

At the guild meeting, Awatu spoke of hunting down Saphiara to bring to justice until he could sort things out with Sanctuary’s leader. He even promised Syreena the elf’s ears. At first, Syreena was eager to go hunt down the elf. Something didn’t sit well with her about the Commander’s orders and comments, but she couldn’t pinpoint what it was that bothered her.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the shadows of a clump of rocks in Nagrand, Syreena watched a blood elf tend his fire and brew his tea. He didn’t wear a tabard, but Syreena recognized him from the Cantina a few days before she found out about Filora’s attack. The elf had argued with Syreena about her pleasure in killing Night Elves, because they so closely resembled his own race. He also seemed to have an annoying habit of calling her “friend.” She had enjoyed antagonizing him with her talk of mutilating elves and eating their ears, especially after she’d learned he was Sanctuary.

Now, just hours after the guild meeting, she watched him, unseen, as Awatu’s words rang through her mind, his orders to The Grim to find Saphiara to seek justice for the attack on Filora. She turned the words over and over in her mind, something still nagging at her, even through her eagerness to find the one who dared attack a Grim.

Bring Saphiara to justice.

Justice. That was Sanctuary’s thing. Someone had specifically told Syreena that when the little rogue said something about Sanctuary and peace, and they quickly corrected her. Sanctuary seeks justice.

Peace. That was The Grim’s thing. Peace through annihilation. “What would you do if you came across a human farmer who didn’t directly fight against the Horde, only supported those who did?” Atticus often asked of Grim applicants. “Kill him,” was the correct answer. Annihilation. Kill the enemy, and all who supported them.

Peace through annihilation.

As it was said in the description of the Trial of Combat, the first Trial every Supplicant was required to pass on the path to becoming Grim, "The Grim do not resolve issues with words, but with action."

Her mind was made up.

With the softest click of a snap that released the poisoned blades from her belt, Syreena moved swiftly, closing the gap between her and the Sanctuary elf. She struck from the shadows, before he even seemed to know she was there.

Initially, she maintained the advantage she’d gained from surprise. Unfortunately for her, however, her opponent was one of the many of his race that had the skill to back up the arrogance she attributed to all elves. His staff hurt, he was as agile as she was, and his healing spells were difficult to stop when he was so frustratingly good at keeping her at distance to cast them. After several moments, and after she’d used up all her tricks, she was forced to retreat without any ears as trophies.

She vanished into the shadows of some nearby trees and went silent, watching for a moment. The elf slammed his staff into the ground and yelled, “Coward!” The insult didn’t bother her. She’d been called worse.

Syreena watched a moment longer before slipping away through the shadows. She was disappointed she wasn’t able to finish him off with her blades. If she were really lucky, the poisons might yet do the job, though she didn’t hold much hope for that. In any case, her point was made. Grim would not be attacked without retaliation.

As she traveled back to the garrison, she found herself nervously working her new toy—a night elf druid kitty tail—around her fingers. The Commander had given permission to hunt down and kill Saphiara, not all of Sanctuary. Visions came to mind then, of a Forsaken with arms being ripped from the body. She cringed.

She could say she thought this elf was Saphiara. After all, it wasn’t always easy to tell male elves from females. She could claim it wasn’t her, but her twin sister, Anaie, who had been the attacker. That line had gotten her out of trouble a few times in the past. No, as much as she enjoyed having her arms, she had too much respect for Awatu to lie to him.

Instead, she convinced herself that the Commander gave those orders for diplomatic reasons. Of course any Grim would seek peace through annihilation. He would certainly turn a blind eye to her actions. That’s what she told herself, both this night and the next. Besides, even she did disobey Awatu, she believed with all her rotting heart that her actions were in accordance with the Mandate.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next night, while visiting her outpost in the Spires of Arak, Syreena noticed a Tauren doing the bidding of the local Arakkoa townsfolk. The flash of purple and gold on his chest made the little rogue take a closer look. The Sanctuary tabard.

Syreena sat on a rock nearby, staring at him. When he didn’t seem to notice, she threw a snowball at him, then another, and another. Then she pulled a toy windup car from her pocket and aimed it at his feet.

“I’m a lawyer, you know! This is harassment!” he shouted. The rogue grinned. At least she'd gotten his attention.

The Tauren headed out of the little town, and the Forsaken followed him, keeping to the shadows. They arrived at an old, rundown garrison that seemed to be populated by ghosts. Apparently, the Tauren was tasked with clearing the place out, because he started battling the former residents of the place.

A dwarf shaman was nearby. Syreena quickly attacked and defeated her. When she saw the shaman again, a paladin was there too, ready to defend the dwarf. The rogue got an idea, that would keep her hands clean of Sanctuary blood this time.

Syreena began helping the Sanctuary Tauren with his battles against the ghosts in plain view of the Alliance. The shaman and paladin soon left, but two human death knights were nearby. Syreena pretended not to notice them while she continued to aid the Tauren with his battles nearby.

The two death knights became separated, not by much, but enough. Syreena killed one quickly, and then moved in plain sight to the second one. She attacked him lightly, at the same time, leading him towards the Sanctuary Tauren.

When she had led the death knight to within easy striking distance of the Tauren, she vanished into the shadows in a corner of the building. She grinned wickedly as she watched the death knight turn on Sanctuary. After the Tauren fell, Syreena left the area.

The letter that arrived in the evening was not unexpected, nor were its contents. Awatu had suspected Atticus to be the one to strike first, but reading that Syreena had been identified as an assailant was somewhat surprising. He could only guess at her reasons for attacking, but concluded that something had been turning in her mind to prompt her to action. She was not as impulsive as her sister, nor was she as emotionally-driven as some of the others. No, she specialized in calculations and forethought. Which begged the question: how was she identified? Perhaps she had been confused with her sister? Or wrongfully identified completely. Awatu was not sure what angered him more, the fact that she was identified or the fact that she defied an order before he could speak with the Irredeemables at length on the matter. Whatever her motivation may have been, he intended to discover the accuracy of this claim and what has been circling the mind of the High Inquisitor.

Further exchange of stationary would become tiresome and pointless. Awatu decided that he would progress matters by paying a visit to the garrison of Sanctuary and speaking with their leaders. After he spoke with his own leadership. Holding his hearthstone tight and holding it closely to his mouth, he spoke.

"Irredeemables and Dreadweavers, we must speak of important matters."

The Bearer of the Word of the Mandate slouched in a wood and hide chair, looking exasperated. As the nearest thing The Grim had to a peacekeeper for fellow Grim, the troll was tasked with keeping his comrades safe. And now look! More and more time being consumed with investigations of their fellow Horde (and his own guildmates interactions with those "fellow Horde") rather than where he wanted to be, out on the battlefield with no care in the world other than where to place his next stroke. It was maddening!

All of a sudden, a deep, full-throated voice boomed from the little carved stone at his waist. Hooking it into his helmet, he heard the words, "...deemables and Dreadweavers, we must speak of important matters." The troll laughed a little as some tension eased out of him, then wiped his brow. Good, finally something was going to be done.

Chaindog stumbled into the guildhall. Drunk as a skunk lost in a open trunk. Her tankard sloshed as she made her way back to the bar. "Silly Bloodscream, hiding jur grog in plan sight. All dem words a waste dey was when ju said ju was hiding de grog." Chaindog reminisced about the times the Grim was all death and fury across Azeroth and Kalimdor. She tripped and fell to the floor. Her tankard bounced, spilling the rest across the floor. Chaindog, not one to let things go to waste, through her blurred vision, dabbed a finger in the liquid on the floor. She tasted it. It was grog, mostly, with a touch of dried blood elf blood?

She pushed herself back to her feet. Wobbling, she mutters, "Good ting Muatah not ere. He'd be so angry wit me. Ah, da old days. Me misses dem." she continues her way to the bar and grabs a new clean tankard. Then she realizes it's actually clean and looks around the bar noticing it is actually cleaner and like someone's been working on it.

She fills the tankard and pulls up a stool to the bar and sits on it and takes a chug of grog. She hunches over at the bar lets her head hang low. Her eyes start to focus on something etched into the top of the bar. It looks like it was scratched in with a very sharp knife. It read "Kill them... ALL".

Her mind flashes back to the Core. After they killed the Major Domo. When Abric walked up her and chewed her out for prematurely shooting the domo before the guild was ready. They'd won, but barely because of her fuck up. He said, "I'd expect better of you." He handed her the ancient petrified leaf and then said, "Now I expect you to kill them all!"

Her fingers trace the etching. She recalls now that she etched it into the bar top. She remembers that day. Skash to her right, busy stuffing his face with pie. And Lupen to her left talking to Emmons about some alliance town they just rampaged through. The stools now stood empty. As if yearning for Grim to sit in them again.

"Rampaging." Chaindog says, "Maybe we need more rampaging."
