The Mage's next task

The mage slumped wearily in the cushioned chair at his estate in Silvermoon. His robes were torn and blacked with soot, and his normally bright green eyes had lost their luster. He doubted he could summon enough will to master the energies to light a candle. He was tired. A bone deep exhaustion that melted into his very bones. All he wanted was sleep.

But the destroyer was dead.

Jafylas did not normally concern himself with the various goings-on of the world without. he cared for his studies, and his own power. But the dread black dragon had threatened the world, and as such, himself. When the call came from The Grim to help bring the beast down, he weighed his options, and determined his interests lie in that fight. And so, he joined the Annihilators on their journey into madness itself.
