Trials (Duroxas' final task)

Quite a bit of time had passed between being assigned his task and now. The warlock flew steadily north, the bitter glaciers of Icecrown looming below as chilling gusts of wind reminded him exactly what it meant to be cold. The tournament grounds wouldn't be much better for him; though the buildings and mountains served as sufficient windbreaks, the continual and strong presence of holy magic always kept him uncomfortable in the area. Stifling like direct sunlight on a cloudless day, but without any comforting warmth for him.
And yet, that was the entire point of his final task, was it not? To put him in an uncomfortable situation? His inquisitor knew of his susceptibility to holy magic, she took advantage of it occasionally. Paladins...
"You are to complete two of the Argent Crusade's trials. The Trial of the Champion, and the trial of the Crusader. And, you must bring with you a Priest and a Paladin to assist you within the arena."
There was no escaping strong exposure to the holy magic he so disliked with this task, she'd made sure of it. Duroxas looked for the silver lining; He knew of these tasks, he knew they were difficult, a true challenge with so few people. Finally an opportunity to prove his combat abilities, to show his strength, as the priest and paladin he'd found to aid him would be primarilly focusing on healing and keeping the opponent's attention from him respectively.
The Argent Crusade flags billowed in the distance, the tops of the tents visible now beyond the glaciers.

The trio entered the Trial of the Champion first; compared to what they knew of the Trial of the Crusader, Champion would be little more than a warmup for the main event.

With that over, the real challenge began.

(( Insert Faction Champions here, forgot the screenshot in my haste to move on ))

Once again, proof that nothing can bear to rear it's head against the might of the Horde.
