Taking nearly a month of negotiations, back-stabbing, espionage, and a grand heist, Sethinus Riftwind managed to procure the magical artifact necessary to complete the absurd task assigned to him by his Inquisitor, Bryii.
Travel back in time and collect the heads of Ragnaros, Illidan Stormrage, and the Lich King himself?
It would require means secreted only by the Bronze Dragonflight.
After the costly dealings in the South of Stranglethorn and the Caverns of Time, Sethinus journeyed alone, deep into the Molten Core and activated a bronze hourglass to confront a Ragnaros from an earlier time, when weakened by an early awakening.
Single-handedly crushing the fiery old god, the blood elf turned his attentions to the Black Temple. Illidan Stormrage would require a larger force to be conquered, and there was no shortage of Grim volunteers ready to enjoy the spoils of history.
The final assault culminated in the Icecrown Citadel, where a full fist of Grim and allies brought the fight to the steps of the Frozen Throne. Though the hourglass had accidentally shattered during the battle with Stormrage, Sethinus preserved enough of the Sands of Time to react with his prismatic dragon-forged blade, Quel'Delar.
The third and final head was added to his satchel, and Sethinus presented them to Bryii, and there was much smugness.
(( Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help out: Durrosh, Guduk, Morienne, Syreena, Bryii, Brass, Tekk, Miida, Nalfy, Hrist, and Rashanti. I could not have managed this huge task on my own. ))
