Soul searching.

The wind bit at her, threatening to pull the large fur cloak she had wrapped about her away. She didn't actually need the cloak, for she couldn't feel the freezing air. It was just something she had picked up on a whim. Now here she stood, wrapped in the fur cloak, in the middle of a battlefield. Hokuto Darksnow stood in the shadow of the ancient structure of Icecrown Citadel. Her face was stern, set. The look in her eyes, more vivid with a passion that made them almost seem alive once again. Her bone inlaid armor glistened, covered in a thing layer of frost.
She hadn't come here at random. At least she didn't think it that way. She was following a trail. To what, she didn't know, but she could feel that it was important.
A small shadow flitted by. Hokuto glanced around and saw what it was. A strange bird, transparent, dark. It had been her guide, and this is where it had her follow. She took a step forward as the bird moved on. On towards the great doors of the frozen citadel.
Up past the many stairs, past the frozen ram of the Argent Crusade. Through the broken halls of the very keep itself. The death knight strode confidently through the citadel, like she had never left it.
What she was searching for, again she did not know. But her guide did. The dark, little bird, that bid her follow.
