Zalyna set forth on her day with a quick check to the mail. There she discovered the letter penned by Inquisitor Malebrignon stating that she would be apprenticing under him. She was elated, and eager to get started with her work within The Grim. Unexpectedly, she had been called away to tend to more soldiers of the Horde and unable to formally meet the Inquisitor. Nonetheless she quickly began on her tasks - after her healing skills were no longer in dire need. She was entrusted to collect a stack of wool cloth, twenty pieces in all, red dye from a specific source and a fresh perfect deviate scale.

The wool cloth she already collected from previous adventures, so she quickly marked it off her list. At the time, she was stationed near Tarren Mill and then set forth to the Scarlet Monastry's Library where Arcanist Doan was said to stay. Zalyna and a few others from the Horde made quick work of him. The Blood Elf hurriedly scoured the area and Doan's belongings. Among the red dyes, she discovered an unused healing robe and took possesion of it.

Zalyna left the Library and rode her hawkstrider to Undercity, where she took the zepplin to Orgrimmar. The only experience with Kalimdor that the young Elf had was with the battle of Warsong Gulch near Ashenvale. She was happy to take in the sights as she traversed Durotar and the Northern Barrens. She stopped briefly through The Crossroads. The people there were welcoming and most helpful, they directed her to Wailing Caverns for her endeavor.

The perfect deviate scale proved to be the most difficult item to obtain. Zalyna slayed all of the beasts at the cavern's entrance but still was unable to find it. She ventured deeper into the caverns, encountering some difficult enemies on the way, but the priest had improved much in combat and healing. She quickly dispatched all that came at her. Finally she encountered a rare sight, a deviate faerie dragon! It must have been luck, for the next beast she killed had the perfect deviate scale.

Her task complete, and a tad exhausted by the travel, she hastily hearthed home to Silvermoon and awaited her first meeting with Inquisitor Malebrignon. She hoped that she would not disappoint.

((I forgot to add this screenshot just before I got off yesterday))

"I am also very pleased to announce that the Battlemasters have given me an achievement for 1000 honorable kills. Granted it's not much, but I am happy the numbers are steadily rising." Zalyna grins.
