Hokuto's first assignment.

Unread post by Hokuto »

Her first assignment for her Inquisition was not what she had been hoping for. Instead of laying waste to someone who clearly would have had it coming to them, Hokuto was sitting at a small table inside The Broken Tusk of Orgrimmar. There was a single scroll sitting on the table. Around the scroll sat roughly a dozen full bottles of Silvermoon Port. With a sigh, she picked up a bottle and a quill, took a long swig, and began writing.

There are three schools that may be learned by a Death Knight. Each so unique as if to have it's own being.

The first of these schools is that of Blood. It enables the Death Knight to take the very life energies and fluids of it's enemy to keep itself alive... for the most part... and well. Able to summon shields of bone and blood worms, a Death Knight learned in Blood can take on beings that most others cannot. Those of the school of Blood are known for their ability to take a beating and continue to wreak havoc. Quite simply, the enemy itself is the fuel of it's own demise.

She pauses. It was simple but informative. Taking another drink she continues writing.

Next is the Unholy school. This school allows the use of the Death Knight's diseases to their maximum potential. Many of the abilities of this school allow the Death Knight to make sure that it's enemy suffers through the pestilence. With this school also comes the ability to control undead minions. While all Death Knights have the power to summon a ghoul, those learned in that of the Unholy are the only ones able to completely dominate their minions. They even have so much power to call upon frightening gargoyles to sow terror and death into those marked by the diseases spread by the Death Knight, and turn their minions into hulking beasts of death using dark transformations.

Half the bottles are already empty when Hokuto starts writing on the last school. However something seems a bit different in the way she writes.

The final school able to be learned by a Death Knight is that of Frost. Pure cold destructive power. The exhilerating feeling when my nerves turn as cold as steel. Becoming a killing machine, obliterating anyone in my path, it's the most fun I can have! Hearing the shatter of their brittle bones... completely freezing them with my hungering cold... the strength is entoxicating!

What proceeds seems to be Hokuto arguing with herself. But it's almost illegible with the amount of ink scratched through the writing.

Finishing her last bottle of port, she ties the scroll. She hopes what she has will be enough. If not, getting another scroll is as simple as taking it off the frozen corpse of someone. She walks out of the building and over to a mail box. Content that the scroll will be delivered she starts looking for a way to sate her appetite for death.
