Know The Grim!

This Friday evening at 8 by the goblin clock we welcome you to come and take part in a quest, a hunt if you will. To expand your knowledge of The Grim and its members, to learn of the Mandate and the world around you. And win a bunch of gold!

What: A contest. A race against your peers.

When: 8 pm, this Friday evening, April 3rd.

Where: Gathering will take place at the Apothecaries located in the Undercity.

Who: Anyone wishing to compete. Only the first 40 people present will gain entry to the contest.

How: Each lucky person will be given a parchment, this parchment will give hints as to the location of 8 Grim members, spread across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. The first person to reach each Grim, receive their wisdom, and return to the starting point will be considered the winner.

The winner shall be awarded 500 gold!!

Refreshments will be served before and after the race.

Mordria, I have a request from you that I hope doesn't fuck shit up. Can I be put on 'security' instead of being one of the ones hunted? I am running behind at work and unsure of my exact arrival and don't have my story/item/wtf is going on here. I have hyped up the event and invited my full guest list so HOPEfully you'll get like 10-15 folks from me. I think we should be pleased if that amount take the event seriously even though 40 would be ideal. I assume Grim members aren't actually participating in the Race? Am I missing the post explaining this stuff in more detail? Anyway, GOOD LUCK and I hope to see you by 8pm!

(( Grr looks like there is going to be a NEED for security...fun times. I think we can expect at least one band of Alliance looking for us, but I doubt this lot will be able to assemble the wherewithal to actually find anyone. I envisioned using Moonstones for the Grim so folks could find them relatively easier but think that might be a bad idea UNLESS you do this:

During this hunt, the most alliance slayed will get a second place prize from Cristok, 300 gold. You must complete the event as per Mordria's rules and then the person with the most kills will get the second prize? Its possible for one person to get both priozes. I/you/we would have to make note each participants HK's in UC beforehand. I will volunteer for this if you want, unless you think it would derail the intent. I am just thinking we can turn the participants into our own secrurity....

Well it seems our newest member, Sylvea, got to know the Grim best and won Mordria's prize. Well done...

In getting to know the Grim the principal thing we all learned is that War follows us. We are the Vanguard of the War Effort, the Tip of the Spear. Our enemies know this and will stop at nothing to try and disrupt even our more peacful efforts.

Very well done Mordria for inspiring such a thing. I wonder if our Grim would share the lessons from last night they prepared with those that could not make it...
