Aquizit tapped his wrinkled fingers over one of the long wooden tables within the Filthy Animal, wincing as he felt the charred skin crack and split after one particularly frustrated drum over the splintered wood. He drew his hand back to peer at the damage. A tiny cut, already damp with blood stained with the taint and soot of his fingertips. With a defeated sigh he brushes his hand over his robes. He didn't much care if he soiled the magical garments, just that his finger hurt. That his finger now hurt broke his concentration of why he originally sat down.

The warlock's eyes slid back to the contents on the table. Two items sat motionlessly upon the wood: a small silk bag, tied closed tightly but obviously full, and a small vial full of green ink that seemed to pulse with a fel light. His eyes widened as he remembered the ink, and Aquizit drew a hand into his robes to bring forth a small scribed box. Lying it carefully upon the table, he flipped it open and picked up the vial of ink. Even now it was still burning to the touch, so he quickly set it down inside the box which held the rest of his inscription supplies. Alcohols to dilute pigments into ink sat next to perfectly maintained quills and rags and smaller vials of non-magical inks that held borders around his calligraphy. Nodding with satisfaction at the new home for the vial, he closed the box and shoved it swiftly back into his robes.

His eyes returned then to the small bag, narrowing with frustration when he did so. Aquizit hadn't thought of how to take the scales within and craft them into the scroll case that he would rune with the ink now stowed safely in his inking kit. Again, his fingers drummed the tabletop as his fel green eyes narrowed to mere slits.

Scales... scales.. Who works with scales? Hm, well -- leatherworkers I guess. Ok, but who would touch -these- scales? Dragon no-one seems to mind, but a pit lord? Muatah has been ... well, who knows where for ages now. Yichimet, although skilled and perhaps willing, I doubt would quietly accept work with demonskin.

But.. Yemana, out of all the druids, she seems the most comfortable around warlocks. Hm, she may call us 'demon-callers' but never with any contempt or disrespect.

He shrugged, and sighed in resignation, "We'll see.. I'll talk to her soon.
