Trial of Combat: Grotuk

Unread post by Khorvis »

Sitting on a pile of crates, Khorvis munched on a sweet silvergill sausage and stared out into a nightmare. The Maw churned cosmic spiritstuff into a kaleidoscope of flashes and color that lit up the fabled tower of Torghast. Here in Ve'nari's Refuge, the chaos seemed muffled and distant, but the looming spectre of the Jailer was never too far off.

The orc considered the doorway to the Tower. Within that runecarved prison lay a great many secrets. And information was highly valuable in the Shadowlands, as the broker Ve'nari was wont to express. Khorvis wondered what had caused the rift to grow between 'her' and the cartel that had moved into Oribos and profited greatly from the Azerothian expedition (to include The Grim). Those brokers would hawk their wares to any being with no reservation against the Alliance, as long as they could find the highest bidder.

That settled it for the High Inquisitor. Digging into his pouch, he produced his writing instruments and set out a message to one suited to this task.
Supplicant Grotuk,

Your special skills do be needed for a sensitive mission. The cartel which does command the economy of the Shadowlands has a weakness in the broker Ve'nari. Ferret out what secrets you can from the tower of Torghast and discover what they might fetch from the outcast.

Even if nothing does come from it, I do expect this will aid you in establishing some market share in Oribos. And try not to lose your head in the process.
