The room stunk with the smell of a traitor. The Inquisition went on as usual, the Inquisitors pressing the supplicants for progress on their trials. Cayli's skin crawled at the guest of Servis. Perhaps this is what others felt at her and Ezra's presence. Keldoren, a demon hunter who gave himself to the Legion. Words rattled against the walls of the room of the Karazhan tower, just noise to Cayli, her whole focus was on the traitor standing before them.
"The Duskvales" Khorvis's tone snatched her attention. She looked around trying gathering exactly what was the sudden turn of focus.
"We turn a traitor over to their own to decide their fate" Inside Cayli breathed some relief, thankfully Khorvis was kind enough to fill her in without her asking. The Legion tainted Illidari still was chained, Esrythalon snatched the chain and held onto it.
As the Inquisition carried on, Cayli's skin still crawled standing beside the traitor. She leaned over and whispered to Ezra "Why wait? Lets get this over with" as she snatched the chain and began to drag him from the room to the outside.
"Fly to the Roof" Esrythalon's tone sharp. The words spoken with purpose.
The three fly to the highest peak of the Karazhan tower.
Cayli spoke sharply at Keldoren "Your wings, show them now"
The wings came out, almost defiantly "Truly, must we be savages?" His tone resolute
"Savages would have everyone watch" stoic and clearly spoken, Esryathalon added to the sentencing of the traitor. Cayli's glaive raised high, flashing quickly downwards, severing the tendon required to maintain flight of one of Keldoren's wings. Her tone wrought with amusement "Do we leave him one so he can at least pretend to flutter to the ground?"
"Geeeeyah, at least do it proper, I hate work half done, you hunt demons not become them" wincing and speaking through gritted teeth, Keldoren remains calm, accepting.
"You accuse us of becoming demons, you ran to them to suckle power from them, not to spy" Cayli accused, motioning to the other wing, letting Esrythalon decide whether to sever the other tendon.
"Actually I was caught and tortured... Then offer a chance to survive. Raped by demons to death or power and eternal life... Hard call..." his speech swiftly interrupted as Esrythalon raised his glaive, and came across the wing's tendon, nearly severing the wing. "We all had difficult choices to make, you choose wrong."
Cayli smiled, pointing to edge "Keldoren the Traitor, time to fly"
Keldoren's chains rattled as he smugly leaned toward the female, he was about to speak when the blade cut deep in flesh and caused a yelp of pain instead. "Yes I'm sure you're suffering now... Oh wait... That comes later... Now if you'll excuse me..."
As he approached the edge, he turned back to speak once more, but before he could speak he was met with Esrythalon's boot, squarely in his chest sending him flying off the edge to the ground below. The crack of bone was heard clearly as his body bounced from one of the gables, then to the ground.
"Shall we?"
"Back inside, or to make sure the height was enough?"
"I'm certain it was; I was far from kind. Let us return to the others."
"Very well." Cayli finished the exchange, calling her drake and following her husband back below to the others.
Inquisitor Ruuki's glance caught Cayli's attention, it was clear she noticed there was only two. Cayli returned to ranks, removing a cloth from her bag, cleaning her glaive. Esrythalon followed, without a sound, only gently nodding towards Khorvis, as to indicate the traitor was taken care of. For now.
