*A goblin recording device is place on Ruuki's desk on top of a piece of paper with a gold smile drawn on it.*
"Ahem *clears throat* Is this thing on yet? *SQUAWK* EGBERT! Calm down I'm recording for the Inquisitor. Where was I... Oh yeah! So I met with The Cen as instructed. She brought tea, don't tell her but I HATE tea! I drank it and smiled. She asked about me, my family, and my time with Arthas. I could tell the whole time she was learning about me she was also teaching me to learn about myself, and why I sought out The Grim. After talking about me she began to tell me her story. Why she sought out The Grim, and why she supports the Mandate. The good and the bad of the Mandate. She fights for the families like my own that can or could not fight for themselves. To give peace to those who won't be able to fight themselves. She explained to me that the Mandate may call on me to do this I do not have the stomach for, but I must find a way to trust in the Mandate and the Grim and do what is needed without hesitation.
I later met with Cobrak, insane orc if you ask me. Not sure if he wants to shoot me, or use my to play fetch with his dog. But on thing I know he holds true to is The Grim, and that includes the Mandate. He roamed with a pack or mercs called the *SQWUAK* Damnit Egbert! Here have some Night Elf Ears. *tosses Egbert some ears* Where was I? Eye! Haha Cobrak only has one! That might actually make him more deadly... Pretend I didn't joke about his eye. He took a lot of jobs killing the alliance, ran into a lot of Grim, saw that their goals aligned and joined up. He is still apart of his merc group, but holds the Grim higher, The Grim has the Mandate and the Deadshots don't. Because of the Grim, and what the mandate means to him, he would sacrifice any one of his Deadshots is they crossed the Grim. Even the ones in the Grim he wants to strangle. I'm not so sure he will ever be able to find peace even if the alliance is annihilated. *sqwuak* Egbert agrees apparently.
This brings me to you Inquisitor. Having lost my family, I know what you felt losing yours. The blind rage that made you seek out the Grim and then not lean on them when you looked for revenge. Much like when I allowed Arthas to guide me. The Grim saved us both. They gave you the Mandate, even though you were raised to be peaceful, peace can only exist when our enemies no longer do. One day maybe you will find your fathers killer, or at least who they were. If and when that day comes the Grim will be there, and what the Mandate means to me is that in order for you to find peace I must help you annihilate your enemies.
I hope that is what you were looking for. I am glad I have found the Grim, and I will always supports the Mandate. I see now how it means different things to different people. I wish to serve The Grim, whether it be as a frozen killer on the battle field, or a Blood filled Vanguard. I will do as the Mandate needs. Thank you...
What? No it's not bath time... *SQUAWK* Ok fine *faint splash* Who's the clean little egg? Huh? Who's the clean little guy. *Sqwauk* That's right, you are! *BEEP* End Recording.
Gazreeth's second trial
Re: Gazreeth's second trial
Ruuki sat at her desk, listening to the recording quietly as she sipped on her own tea. Gazreeth had so far proven to be a quick study, and she had no doubt that he was learning from them and finding his way to serve the Mandate. She set the recording aside, and grabbed parchment to send him a brief reply.
"Supplicant Gazreeth,
Well done on completing your second trial. Always remember that sometimes you can learn more by watching someone's actions rather than the words they speak. You're ahead of schedule, in truth, so I will need a few days to decide on your third trial. I know that you will work tirelessly on it as you have your previous trials.
