Marrgot's jounals: Drak'thul

((journal entry from marrgot's perspective, meant to acompany https://thegrim.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11681.))
Recordings regarding the orc Drak’thul
Arrived on broken shore with Mai’kull via goblin glider. Found Drak’thul lying on a cot. The warlock is a grumpy old Orc who does nothing but brag and whine. Reports he has been “Communing with demons since was swaddling blankets” Interesting choice of words, “communing.” Perhaps in times of old, the term was a remnant of shamanistic Orc society.

Drak’thul turned out be even more repulsive than I imagined, so historical interview was postponed. Maikull was looking for a relic, which he found in the same place Drak’thul had previously hidden it. Idiot.

Relic is some sort of trinket, possibly part of a pendant or badge. Workmanship suggests ancient origins, though I cannot place exactly. Wood base, with a metal plate attached. Finally there is a skull design, unsure of material. Around the skull are inscriptions I cannot translate. Note: check library for similar characters. Gems are embedded in the side of the base, on the north, south, east, and west sides.

Sketch of relic:

Brought Relic back to Drak'thul. Reaction was... strange. Started talking about "whispers" connected to this object. Afterwards lost focus and started speaking in gibberish. Maybe relic is cursed. I will have to do more research.
