Assassin to Assassin ((interview of Syreena))

Unread post by Lunataure »

Luna and Syreena sat on the edge of the river just north of Halfhill. For two individuals that make a living killing people they were strangely calm in each other’s company. They had been fighting at each other’s side for good while and each felt they could trust the other. Luna had been struggling with a burden recently and she needed to decide what to do with it. Each person in the Grim had come there with their own reasons and Luna wanted to understand more about Syreena and her reason. “Syreena? What brought you to the Grim?” Syreena answered her by telling her about the day she had met Sammuel an undead warrior near the cross roads nearly 8 years ago. They had each been fighting alliance and soon had teamed up to make the killing faster. He had introduced her to the Grim and the Mandate. Syreena lived to kill Alliance and actively sought them out for the slaughter. Luna’s own reason for joining the Grim had not been so simple. She had been sent to try to disband the Grim by killing their leader Awatu. That plan had back fired for the persons that hired her because they were all now all in the ground and Awatu was now even stronger than before because Luna was now fighting at his side. Luna asked Syreena what the Mandate meant to her and was mildly amused that Syreenas lust for killing alliance was so strong that she waved her daggers in the air as if she where slicing up alliance as they spoke. What Syreena impressed most on Luna was that she was a fighter and that she would not let anyone, Alliance, Scourge or other beat her down. Luna asked what would happen if anything were to happen to Awatu. She believed she already knew but she wanted to see if Syreena thought the same way. Syreena told Luna that another would quickly take his place and that the Grim would fight on. That was one of the reasons why Luna thought it was important for her to get rid of those who had hired her because even if Luna had removed Awatu another would just step. Luna knew that she would have had to kill every last member of the Grim to stop them from trying to fulfill the Mandate. She decided that the Horde was better off with the existence of the Grim and those that tried to stop it were traitors that needed to be cleansed. That was done now and she felt she needed to find a way to come clean with her guild mates and most importantly Awatu…
